I recently hired a floor sander from Jewson Penge, and Paul and colleagues couldn?t have been more helpful. They were very responsive to queries and happy to offer advice, as well as patient with us as DIY novices ! Would definitely recommend to others and use again.

Exceptional customer service from Paul and delivery driver Andy.
Travelled down from Ipswich Suffolk to help my youngest daughter who has in the last few weeks purchased and moved into Peckham. One room had a disgusting carpet which she ripped out immediately and asked my opinion. Photos of the boards looked ok so suggested sanding.
Quite a bit of unexpected preparation work was involved but eventually managed to get the job done in two separate visits.
Have used Jewson back in Ipswich for my own sanding equipment requirements and received great service there.
Paul and Andy at Penge have been absolutely brilliant, polite, friendly, reliable, punctual and ultimately professional in every aspect.
As a result I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jewson Penge for equipment hire.

Poor customer service from Jewson.Sad to have to give one star as their customer service is very poor!Ordered online on Sunday to hire a Wacker plate for Friday 16th June.Was sent an email confirmation stating someone would contact me!I called them on Wednesday as I hadn't heard from them to be told they'd call on Thursday to take the deposit.....Call never came and I contacted another company and was sorted within 5 minutes of calling.Very unprofessional from a major company but guess it wasn't worth their while hiring to me .Wouldn't recommend hiring from them.

Used the Tool Hire service - Paul and Andy couldn't have been more helpful if they tried. They ensured they could get the tools I needed on the day I needed it and without a doubt, went beyond my expectations in terms of helping me get it working in such a kind manner (as a female never using these kinds of tools and standing in a building yard, some of these companies have a reputation to make one feel intimidated and 'dumb' so it was refreshing just to be treated well).

Can not reccomend this place highly enough. Outstanding service from management to delivery drivers. From past experience it can be intimidating for a woman to go into a builders merchant, here you are made to feel welcome by staff who are knowledgeable, honest and accommodating. Their efficiency is second to none and i will definitely be using them from now on.
