I rarely leave bad reviews, but this visit was truly unacceptable. The food not only tasted bad but also looked like it had been sitting around far past its prime. My dish had an odd smell and the vegetables were discolored nothing like the fresh ingredients you?d expect from a proper kitchen. The chicken looked like it was made by a 4 year old.

I attended this evening for my sons bday and this is what happened. I work within the hospitality sector so I think I'm worth taking notice of.
I arrived about 8pm and opening times state till 22:00 unfortunately as of 9pm they began closing the buffet down asking customers to collect what they want. In my professional opinion they should tell customers the buffet closes down from 9pm and at £25ph including children this is really unacceptable for a buffet style restaurant. I collected my plates but unfortunately some of the hot food was cold by thd time I got round to eating it and I could not enjoy what I had collected. The reason for the closure is for staff to have time to eat...I work in an environment where staff may not to eat at 10:30pm....feeding staff is not a problem even they have to eat but it should not be done at the expense of customer service and time.
On arrival I asked the manager to place my cake in the fridge for later. We decided to take it home as thd lights and music were all off by 9:45pm and we felt most uncomfortable. When I asked for my cake back i discovered my cake was in a cooler not a fridge, the cake was an ice cream cake n unfortunately partially melted because he was not able to communicate professionally snd understand what I had asked him, thd cake was most important and I would have taken my business elsewhere if they was not going to put my cake in the fridge as requested, this is why the right manager makes a difference in a given venue, if there was a lack of understanding he should have asked specifically if the cake had to be properly refrigerated rather than assuming a cooling area to be satisfactory. This manager most certainly needs training about kitchen equipment uses. In the end all I got was a sorry and a ruined cake so I most certainly will not be revisiting this venue and I would suggest customers do not arrive after 7pm because your night will be spoilt by thd service. For £25ph customers need to get their moneys worth.

I have nothing against the staff or the place itself but the food is very subpar. Not only do they promise global buffet but serve only general Asian food, all the food is dried out and the desserts look (and taste) like they've been laying here at least from yesterday. The ice cream have definitely melted and then been frozen again. The big shrimp were not deveined properly. Oh, and the toilet was dirty. Overall I don't recommend, what an absolute waste of money.

Place has gone down hill and more expensive which doesn't make sense.
This was our weekly spot before haven't been in 6 months now and they don't open lunch time anymore either.

Having experienced better buffets, I was disappointed by the food quality?the meats were tough and overly salty, the salt and pepper prawns were similarly tough and over-seasoned with salt, and the fried rice was undercooked. Many of the sauced dishes relied too heavily on salt, and the dessert station was underwhelming.
At £20 per person?without drinks included?the experience fell short of expectations. While they do offer a variety of Asian-inspired dishes, they need to realize that salt and pepper aren?t the only seasonings available.
As for those who thoroughly enjoyed it? bless them, but I know better. I won?t be returning although the service was good.

I booked for my friend's birthday. 3 persons went and were declined by a Pakistani guy. I like the Chinese woman who is customers focus. That paki has zero customers focus.
And now the restaurant is suffering loss and is advertising 20% discount.
No not going there. I went to Jashaan in Turnpike lane for £6 a big plate of fried rice etc. Very good price. Me and my friends stop going to JRC.
I told the guy that I am going to write a review about this and he said he doesn't care as the restaurant doesn't belong to him.

Very very disappointing visit we enter exact opening time 4:30 PM on Wednesday 28th of May, you will expect fresh food but look like some of the items are leftovers, food taste and smell was awful, the chef who prepares the food on the site refuses to make prawn, told us to take from try that left on the side those prawns are mushy and smells after that it makes me sick I throwup on the table no staff bother to come to come or ask how I am and how was feeling ok are not, when I got up told them still no response from any of them even when I was leaving restaurant no one come to ask it was horrible service it was very horrible experience and horrible food I will never ever recommend anyone, I will never ever going back

A buffet with dishes from all over the world.....what more needs to be said. Food was absolutely delicious. Only downside was I had to pay £14 for my daughter who is 4 (and tiny) which didn't seem fair as she ate hardly anything.

I had the misfortune of dining at the Wood Green branch of this so-called restaurant, and I must say, it left a lot to be desired. While the location is quite convenient?inside a shopping mall with easy parking?there's little else to commend it.
Booking is necessary, and it can be done online, but don?t expect much from your experience. The restaurant is considerably smaller than other branches in London, which should have been my first warning. Unfortunately, the food was not fresh at all. I encountered dry meat throughout the dishes, all drowning in excessive oil. Many bowls were either completely empty or contained just a few sad pieces of food.
For £25 each plus cost of drinks -during the week, I was hoping for a decent meal, but what I received was an incredibly poor offering with hardly any choice. I frequently visit the branch in Watford, which is fantastic, but Wood Green is just a letdown. I can't recommend it at all.

I visited JRC Global Buffet in Wood Green with my family and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish.
The service was a complete disaster anf disorganised, inattentive, and lacking any sense of hospitality. The food quality was shockingly poor, with many dishes either dry or unappetising slimy. It was clear that freshness and flavour were not a priority.
What was even more frustrating was the lack of visible leadership. The assistant manager was simply standing at the entrance, doing nothing to improve the situation or check on guests' experiences.
Overall, it felt like a place running on autopilot with no care for customer satisfaction. I wouldn?t recommend this location to anyone looking for a decent dining experience. It was really a waste of money!
