It is probably the worst Tesco I have ever seen. Low assortment, dirty shelves and floor, rude personnel.

Absolute dump, worst layout of any shop I have ever been in, as you walk in you need to walk through the self service area to get to the shop, messy, access to various aisles blocked off. most checkouts don't work, nowhere to queue and I would suggest using the sainsbury opposite. Tescos should close this shop down

Felt the need to leave a review, because this is one of the worst Tesco?s I?ve ever seen. So untidy and messy and the staff have seemingly little care for customers. Sure they?ll help with questions but often I?ll have to loudly say excuse me to get past when they?re having a convo blocking the aisle. I?m usually a Tesco guy but it?s actually forced me to go to the sainos across the road. Tesco management please come in and sort this one out

You feel no customer care there. Plus, they have decided to close whole meat section and frozen section tonight an 1 h before closing time. Please, give your staff some customer training and a manager on the shift to organize the place

Literally the worst Tesco. Staff are lovely, although I got told off twice for using my own bag around the shop (there were no baskets at the time). But generally they?re very helpfulUnfortunately, there?s too many isles, the store is too narrow, the tills are right in front of the entrance (which is also the exit). You aren?t able to look at anything for long as theres always a stream of people trying to get around you (as I say; too crowded).Theres always a fridge or freezer broken, water leaking everywhere, cages of stock blocking the isle. No one with mobility issues could ever hope to use this shop.Understand the local population has ballooned, but security need to limit numbers entering the shop, it isn?t safe.

I couldn't resist writing my opinion about this particular store, where my presence is currently quite noticeable. First of all, I would like to point out that as soon as I step on this branch, my feelings go crazy. I feel like I'm walking into an Indian store because of the large number of employees from almost one country. I just wanted to find out whether TESCO does not respect the policy of equal opportunities for people from other countries in terms of employment, or whether it is the result of a wrong decision by the current manager or the result of decisions made by the current prime minister in relation to the benefits and employment situation. Even the security guard, who sometimes plays his part like Boolywood Chuck Noris, with a pigeon chest, seems to be very inattentive. What about the fact that he carries a radio? Does he contact his company's mothership if there are no other security guards on site and no control room at all? Overall, this store is kept tidy with an average level of cleanliness and reasonable customer service, with special mention for a very nice and friendly gentleman with glasses who really stands out for his special approach to customers and attentiveness.

My local which I use almost daily, but the recurring negative comments are accurate and justified.Firstly the store layout is frustrating, customers entering have to walk through people queuing to pay and leave. The aisles are narrow as it is, but then they're often congested with staff replenishing shelves. Instead of bringing out one cage of stock at a time they bring multiple and create little walled-off sections, so if you want to enter that area to pick up an item you're made to feel like you're in their way.Secondly, whose bright idea was it to remove most of the manned tills, replace them with self service ones, but then have the majority of them turned off? And the ones that take cash have all been replaced with card only.Last, the shop is poorly maintained, fridges are often leaking or broken, and the management show absolutely no urgency in addressing this. Pools of stinking water are left to sit there. The two female members of staff are polite and diligent and frankly deserve to work somewhere better.

If I could give this store, one star, I certainly would. First off, the store is unkempt at times. There was water on the floor, and no signage regarding the potential hazard of slipping. Additionally, when I went to check out the customer service representative Provided poor service. A Caucasian/European woman attempted to cut in front of me in line. Instead of asserting that she should wait her turn, the customer service rep went to ring her up. I protested that she needed to wait in line behind the person who stood Behind me. Instead, she handed her money to the customer service rep and attempted to check out. If I did not strongly protested this, she would have allowed this woman to check out before me and the gentleman who stood behind me. I question whether this would have occurred if I were a white European instead of a Black American. When I went to ask for a manager, I was told that the manager was not on duty. I will pursue this outside of leaving this review.

We are staying across the road at the Holiday Inn Express and popped out to get ourselves an evening snack. We ended up going to the Sainsbury's Local because the Tesco store was in such a shocking state. Outside the signage is covered in bird droppings as their anti-pest device doesn't appear to be working. Inside at least two of the fridges were leaking so badly that the puddles on the floor must be both a health hazard and a personal injury court case in waiting. There is so much stock piled up in random places that the aisles are difficult to navigate, and the meal deal food area looked less than appetising. I write this review as a regular Tesco customer with a Clubcard, it may be a franchise store, but it reflects really badly on the Tesco name.

Must be up there as one of the worst kept Tesco's in the UK. Dirty, dangerous spills, horrendous layout in terms of entrance and exit, and incredibly cluttered. Embarrassing for the brand.

The worst Tesco express. Dirty, disorganized and rude staff. Please Tesco customer service team look into this.

Clearly advertising on the banner that it opens until midnight, so it?s false advertising.

Upon entering the supermarket, I was immediately greeted by a chaotic sight of cluttered corridors filled with carts and untidy boxes. It was nearly impossible to navigate through the aisles without having to manoeuvre around obstacles. This not only hindered the shopping experience but also posed safety concerns for customers. To add to the inconvenience, the checkout process was a complete nightmare. I found myself waiting in an excessively long line, which extended far beyond the designated area. It was evident that there was a lack of sufficient cashiers available to handle the volume of customers.Regardless of the time of day, a well-managed supermarket should prioritise maintaining clear and organised corridors for customers to move freely, as well as ensuring an efficient and prompt checkout process. These factors directly contribute to a positive shopping experience, which unfortunately was sorely lacking during my visit.
