Left 10 hours between prescription being issued by doctor, to going to collect, and only 1 item on the prescription. Was told that they are still working on prescriptions that were issued 7 days ago. What a shambles. Next time I need a prescription I must remember to phone this useless pharmacy and book a slot to issue the prescription

Absolutely diabolical, can't sell travel tablets as no pharmacist. The pharmacist is never in. They might as well scrap the whole thing. Gave up years ago with prescriptions as that was always a two hour wait! What a joke!!

Just like so many other reviews the pharmacist herself is great, but the other staff and unhelpful and slow. I've been told previously that the need 7 days for a repeat prescription, no signs up stating that! Went yesterday and after answering a dozen questions was told it would be a 30 minute wait! 3 of them there, just 1 item on my prescription and no-one in the queue in front of me. Will not use again.

Just visited 2 people working in the pharmacy very unhelpful had the medicine we needed but couldn't work out what to charge told to go to boots very unhelpful and actually they seemed as though they could not be bothered to help at all.

Brilliant pharmacy and staff, always get my medication text on time and staff are friendly and helpful and medications are always complete and fully stocked and not in generic packaging

Very poor. EVERY time I go there, they claim that the prescription isn't ready, even when I know it is, or they need a couple hours to get it ready (it's a box of medicines off the shelf). SO unhelpful.
For repeat prescriptions, they say we should order 2 weeks in advance!?.... I dread going there

I truly can not fault this chemist and their staff. They have always gone above and beyond to help me and are so very friendly. If I call the phone is always answered and everybody is always so helpful and resolves any issues I have.
Also they always make time to get prescriptions ready for me that have been sent over with more urgent medication.
I have gone and sat in the Cafe for half hour or got shopping and then it?s ready to collect. Sometimes longer if really really busy but always within an hour.
The problems that other reviews mention when another chemist closed definitely do not exist now.
I wouldn?t go anywhere else.
And I never leave a review because I can?t be bothered but the bad reviews on here are definitely not warranted ?

On 30th October 23, I visited Tesco pharmacy in a panic as I thought I had another box if my medication and it turned out I didn't! My GP surgery's repeat prescription service takes a few days so I was worried about not having my medication for around a week waiting for that. I spoke to a lovely Pharmacist (I think her name was Adele) and she was really reassuring and explained the process of getting me an emergency prescription. Half an hour later everything was sorted and I was on my way home with what I needed. Despite a clearly busy shift, with technical/IT issues and queues of people needing help, both Adele and her colleague (apologies, I didn't catch her name either) were kind, helpful and running around doing their very best to help everyone! They kept apologising for the wait, but it was not necessary, I am grateful for their help!

I'm not sure if this pharmacy is overwhelmed with orders or is really understaffed but it's bad. Regularly (almost constantly) without stock. It's a common occurrence you have to go back three/four times for one prescription (bare in mind many people going have mobility issues and illnesses that weaken people). We have also encountered getting incorrect medicines or amounts in the prescription. We have been told excuses such as: that it was the GP not sending through the prescription (contradicting what the GP says); we hadn't given them enough time to get the prescription together (which they recommend 10-14 days), the orders are on back order, and so on.It's a real shame because I believe they're trying their best and they aren't especially rude but there is something wrong with their system of operation as none of the other pharmacy's around the area seem to suffer from these same errors.Often we are left with this as the only option, however, due to the other pharmacies closing before I return from work and my partner not having the strength to leave the house for long.The real concern that is also mentioned in other reviews is that some of these regular prescriptions are required for people's health and wellbeing: without the regular medicines people suffer from serious withdrawals and many other side effects of being days without medicines such as anxiety/depression or pain medication to name a few.Please guys push for more staff, more regular orders and a systems of operation update/overhaul.

Never open when they should be every time I go into collect they are closed and end up without tablets even though I try and plan ahead sometimes you can't plan. I work full time and can't get to a pharmacy in working hours hence why I had been using this pharmacy but its about the 3rd time in a couple of months I've ended up with no medication they get grumpy if you turn up without a text and then if you wait you end up running out completely because they arent open and end up in withdrawal from your medication
