Basic English is missing at this shop. I struggled to order in here. As i couldn't understand the staff, they also struggled to understand me.. I usually avoid Subway for this reason but noticed they had order screens.. Unfortunately they were not working today. Also, I paid cash and there was no pennies for change.

First time leaving a negative review for anything. Absolutely awful experience here yesterday in every way possible. It?s very unclear where you need to place your order, after standing in front of the counter for over 15 minutes along with other customers (whilst waiting for a delivery driver coming in and out collecting) I was told I was stood in the wrong place along with everyone else stood behind me - they had seen us standing there for a while, no idea why nothing was mentioned earlier, possibly just too busy with their delivery service. When I ended up getting served there was no apology for the wait and the lady who served me seemed as irritated as myself. The member of staff who went to take my payment had very poor English and could not understand when I queried why I was being over charged for my food, after several attempts of me trying to explain this, it was eventually rectified by a different staff member who had jumped in to help. I waited a further 10 minutes for my food which was a very basic order. I went to fill my drink from the drinks dispenser machine and to my horror found three FLIES floating in the top of my cup after filling it. I was given a new cup and this was bizarrely seen as dealt with and acceptable. Absolutely disgusting and again, no apology at all. Having already spent close to 35 minutes from having entered, I didn?t have the time or energy to take this any further but honestly would not set foot back in here EVER. Clearer signage needed as to where you need to place your order, having looked at previous reviews that mention the screens to order food, not one of the machines were on or working, unsure if this was intentional or not but a simple ?order here? sign under the right side of the counter would suffice to avoid confusion and delays. To top it all off, when unpackaging my order it literally looked like it could have been made better by a 12 year old, chucked together, cold (ordered it toasted), dry and falling apart. Do yourself a favour, AVOID and go literally anywhere else.

Used to be brilliant and I would take my 3 kids there regularly. Unfortunately it's been changed to screens which means i can't see how fresh things look before asking for it (especially the salad). The whole point of going somewhere to have a sub stuffed for you and not prepackaged is to have a look, ask for a bit more or less of one type of salad as they're doing it. Ask for half one sauce and half another etc.
One of my children is Autistic and asks for just cheese in a box! I have to explain this unusual request and they were always understanding and lovely.
The whole point of subway was personalisation for us and now there's absolutely no point. We could go anywhere and buy a ready made packaged sandwich/baguette/salad.
This customer won't be back.

Staff are excellent, but there has been a move to replace them with computers (like McDs). What a nightmare! And used to enjoy the chat with the staff taking/prepping your order. Plus everyone struggled with them, and even the staff member gave up and put my order through the till. Kudos to them though as they were excellent with their customer service. Also the staff now have to shout out across the restaurant any queries, and they don't know who to shout to as they didn't serve them. In short People>Screens!

Just finished my sub, wrong bread wrong fillings, I paid for extra they are also not on there, new machines are awful been going since they opened up there will not be returning ever. They basically stole my money. Bring back the days of begin able to see them. My empty ass roll is a disgrace to all subways. Would not recommend and will never return

Staff are unhygienic. They cross contaminate between the meat and veg and do not exchange their gloves. I walked out without ordering.

We went in before closing time and Kai served us with a big smile:)
Kai was so lovely and welcoming, it made our short time in subway the highlight of our day.

Don't normally use this branch but will not be going back, salad box portions was tiny, they were using half scoops of toppings, tried charging me extra for salad items that are standard items.
Staff were not happy people at all obviously something going on. One last coughed over the cheeses as she was putting it out, needless to say I didn't have that item
Definitely won't be using it again

Haven't had a Subway in ages so ordered through Uber eats for delivery. Ordered the Breakfast footlong meal deal, a create your own footlong meal deal and a side of meatballs.the food arrived cold which was kind of expected as the uber driver made 2 stops before getting to us. But, the meatballs weren't even in the bag which was still sealed from the shop.tried calling the store but as expected, no answer and wasn't going to call uber to complain as last time I did I was on hold for nearly 40 minutes.the bag we had delivered was full to the top and our driver only had one bag so looks like it just never got sent out.next time ill collect on foot, but from reading other peoples feedback I don't have high hopes for a good level of service.

Food is good but there is a grumpy woman who has no patience what so ever. She shouts at customers to ask what they want when they are clearly trying to decide, I once ordered a "BMT" and she went off on one at me saying "IT'S DELI MEATS... DELI MEATS IS WHAT YOU MEAN... IT'S BEEN DELI MEATS FOR 6 MONTHS BUT WE'LL TRAIN EVERYONE EVENTUALLY." Listen... I am a customer, I do not need "training". It has been called "BMT" for over a decade so let it slide yeah? Also, it literally says on the menu "Previously BMT"... This particular older woman also is very stingy on the veggies she puts in salad boxes. Clearly hates her job. Terrible customer service from this particular woman but there are plenty of lovely staff here, especially James I think his name is or something. Food is always fine.

We were served by Harrison. He was very unprofessional. He was getting frustrated with his til, swearing under his breath. He didn?t smile or even try to seem polite. When he made my dad a ?latte? he give him a black coffee. He was clearly stressed and maybe the staff should be supporting him with this?
