Went into the Yate branch today after discovering my card had been cloned, phoned the fraud line and girl very unhelpful insisting I had to download the app and she couldn't do anything. I was in such a state and stressed I couldn't download it, inspite her originally saying that my bank couldn't help she then suggested I go down. Had to wait about 5 minutes before I saw someone but was constantly updated. When I got to see Amy she was lovely and kind and phoned the fraud line for me who were very helpful. Problem sorted, money put back into account, card cancelled and new one ordered. Thanks for the wonderful service at the bank

I visited Lloyds Bank in Yate, South Gloucestershire on Tuesday, 5th November 2024. I needed some help in sorting out a banking problem. Unfortunately, I don?t know the name of the lady who came to me whilst I was in the queue for the information desk, but she showed me into one of the offices and was incredibly patient and helped me sort out my problem. Excellent customer care and service.

Been with Lloyds for 60 plus years.......yes l am that young!
I am fairly trusting of them which is a compliment as normally l dont trust willingly.Friendly, mostly helpful and good products and money management , in my case not much for them to manage, alas the vagaries of life, anyway l digress. I would have to say on the whole as banks are nowadays l do think l can still recommend the Yate branch and all the staff seem very pleasant even when overwhelmed by sheer numbers of customers.

just went in to put some money in my account. the lady who helped was very kind and helped me use the machine as i didnt know how to use it. she also showed me i can unlock offers and discounts with the online banking app as i just turned 18.

Rude staff not very understanding made something out of nothing in front of my children had to put my money in natwest as it was easier would not recommend using this branch as not fit for purpose

The bank teller who served me yesterday (Friday 8th March 2024) was very rude. I was depositing some money in to her at the cash desk where she made an abrupt comment suggesting I should be using the ATM instead and didn?t want to provide a receipt because I can check it online instead. I had a rather large sum of cash I needed to pay in and so therefore using an ATM wouldn?t have been the wisest decision as my family also suggested straight away when I walked in with them into the store. I am very disappointed with how rude, uncourteous and disrespectful the cashier was when speaking with me and, as a consequence of this, I will avoid paying any cash I need to into this branch in future as I will not tolerate being spoken to like that as a very loyal customer of Lloyds Bank for at the very least 5+ years.

Worst banking ever . Specifically in yate. I deposited my business money in to bank yesterday around 3pm . I asked lady cashier who got my money bag that money going to my account today . She said yes. Now it?s 10.20am next day . Still money not in my account. Good time I had money in my account for invoices . Otherwise damaging my reputation. And this is not the first time happened incident like this in same branch , same cashier. Be careful if anyone visit Lloyd bank in yate. Many times they have called me saying £80 short and £30 short. Actually this staff is not professional at all .I do business banking with Lloyds now about three years and still they can?t offer me a overdraft as they do this kind poor service. Don?t select Lloyds for your business banking .

Went in today for info ref best way to make large payments for services to companies in order to avoid losses if company goes bust.Best the lady could do was tell me she didn't really know, (obviously also not really interested even though branch was quite and no one Queuing behind me).Best she could come up with was paying by credit card and losing interest in finding out any further info.With staff like that why have a branch at all.

Awful. The reason for my visit was to have an invoice for the funeral flowers of my mother's funeral paid. Obviously my mother's account is frozen. I am the personal representative of the account and aware that the only transactions permitted are those for the payment of funeral expenses, hence my visit to the Yate branch. The cashier was unhelpful and unsympathetic. In spite of the invoice giving details of the date of the funeral and the name of the funeral directors, the cashier stated that she could see no reference to the invoice being for funeral flowers. I indicated where this was stated on the invoice and commented that I did not expect my experience in getting funeral expenses paid to be so difficult. The cashier went to ask a nearby colleague what should be done to get the invoice paid. I overheard her comment; "Ok, just because I couldn't read where it stated funeral", or words to that effect. I explained that it is a difficult enough time dealing with the death of one's mother without the attitude and approach that they had chosen to take.
