Some staff were nice (namely the Geordie man who served me on Weds) but others not so much. I arrived today at 4pm for a pre-booked MOT retest after taking my vehicle elsewhere to be fixed in the interim (Kwik Fit failed it two days ago and couldn?t do the work in time as I needed my car urgently to visit an ill relative on Sunday) but they seemed to have no knowledge of my booking and were quite rude when I said I had pre-booked it. Anyway, I went off to the shops whilst they retested, but there was a problem that meant they still couldn?t pass it. However, instead of calling me to let me know they waited for me to return at 4.40pm. I hastily (and grumpily) took it back to be fixed by the other garage (luckily just around the corner and they admitted it was their mistake) then returned to Kwik Fit at 5.10pm to say I could now show them the car was all fixed (it was a simple issue with the washer jets). I apologised for being grumpy before (my bad), but the man then took great delight in telling me that he couldn?t issue the certificate now as the MOT tester goes home at 4.30pm
on a Friday and they couldn?t see me again until Monday. So now I am going to have to get it tested again by another garage tomorrow so I can have my car for Sunday, meaning I will have paid twice for my MOT. Pretty fed up.

8 June 2025.
I telephoned to order a tyre on Sunday morning and was told by Alan that they had the tyre in stock and could install immediately.
Popped down and was greeted by Ben who installed the tyre with diligence and care, including:
1. Checked underneath the car before placing the jack to ensure lifting on the correct support point.
2. Wire brushing down any rust on the inside hub of the wheel and also the hub where the wheel made contact.
3. Torque wrenched the wheel nuts to ensure correct force was applied, rather than air gunning the nuts too tightly.
It is refreshing to see good workmanship with a sense of quality.
Whole process took around 20mins including payment, Alan kindly advised on available discounts (see below).
Well done to Alan and Ben.

Fabulous customer service from Alan & Owen at Kwik Fit Yate.
I needed to replace both front tyres following an unrepairable puncture and had a couple of brand-new Continentals fitted in super quick time. Very friendly & professional team at Yate, wouldn't hesitate to visit them again.

Awful service been in twice now for a suspected slow puncture and both times told they can?t do anything today even though staff stood around with no vehicles being worked on, I am now going to have to drive further away to get my punctured tyre fixed!!! Terrible service !!!!

Twice I've made appointments to be told "you must have made a booking for chipping sodbury" when I've shown them confirmation they said it's not on the system.
