Local BnQ popped in to get 2x 7cm by 7cm fence posts for a project. VERY DISAPPOINTED. There were approx 12 to 15 posts in stock, and I had to review/check ALL OF THEM to get 2 that were near straight and not split. BnQ possibly get your staff to check the quality of stock and remove/right-off damaged items

We recently had the pleasure of being assisted by George at B&Q in Yate while searching for a solution to remove green algae from our fence posts. His thorough understanding of the products and their applications was immediately evident, and he patiently explained the best way to solve the problem. He also suggested a great product for us to use that he himself had used in the past. George also saved us a lot of future problems by advising us not to apply a waterproofing solution. What truly set George apart was his genuine interest in our project to protect our fence now and in the future and thanks to his expert guidance, we feel reassured and confident that we can eradicate the green algae and maintain our fence in the best possible way. Went in for a bathroom design - Amelie was absolutely fantastic. She was so engaging, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. She designed a lovely bathroom for us so thank you.
Linda and Tasha also helped us in store today - two more great individuals. Both really helpful.

customer service is embarrassing, rude & no knowledge.Don't bother calling as they answer and put the phone down on you. worst store in a 200-mile radiusavoid at all costs.. the people that work there should be sacked. dont waste your money going there

Full B&Q range of products and advice on hand at all times.I found it a bit of a challenge to find light bulbs at this visit, but staff are patient and helpful, so not so much of a problem, really.The store has recently been structurally updated, so it feels a little more spacious, even though its no bigger.

Such miserable and unhelpful staff.Asked to speak to the manager and he couldn?t be bothered to come out onto the shop floor. Instead had to wait for him and shop floor staff to communicate via their headsets adding an extra 10 minutes needlessly.In the end, decided to just leave and spend my money elsewhere. Nothing worse than bad customer service and laziness. I would rather pay more and have excellent service than pay less and have bad service.

Good parking and helpful staff. Check out is using the scanners, unless you ask for a manual check out. Good selection of paints and general DIY, but unlike other sites it not strong on room fittings like bathroom or kitchens.
