Had the Deer and Beer pie and I was initially disappointed as it looked a small portion, however it made up for this by how tasty it was! It came with mushy peas which I hate but these were really tasty, could even taste mint in them.

Very nice pub, we randomly stopped here because it was on our way to a ghost hunt in the area, and we are so glad we stopped here, the pub was nice and clean, the mother daughter team that run it was really friendly, and the food was outstanding, very well presented, great prices and yummy! We are going back in December and I?m very much looking forward to it.

Lovely pub with super friendly staff. We went there a few times and it was always great. Becky is such a lovely lady and we felt welcomed like home every time. Food was good and there is a pizza food truck every Thursday. I can only recommend this nice place!

Great hidden gem of a place. As a tourist I was trying to get away from the tourist path and find a real local pub and this was it. The food was priced very reasonably and was amazingly good. The staff was quite inviting and was happy to talk to us about our travels. We went here 3 nights in a row. I doubt tourists are reading this review but even for locals I would recommend it highly!

Nice old building, mind your head in places . With friendly polite bar staff . Fair size garden out the back , parking too. Didn't eat , only stopped for a pint .

We had dinner in this charming pub. Efficient and smiling staff. We opted for the two course menu and everything was delicious and sufficiently filling. We ate for two for £40
