“This post office was extremely busy leading up to Christmas. The gentleman working was under great pressure with large queues and continued to serve in a pleasant and helpful manner despite no respite. Thank you.”

“Since this changed from Steve's shop to cost cutter, it has managed to increase stock levels hugely, so that now they not only have more areas of actual shop for stocking up, but they have more new items. This includes a coffee machine, a slush puppy machine, a pastie oven, bigger fridges at the back, and after a refit they have the tills arranged better so that the post office is not stuck in the way of everything and the two tills are next to each other. All in all prices are lower than they were, stock levels are higher and the are bigger ranges so much better. It is still more expensive than if you leave the village and go to a supermarket but then that is expected.”

“Post office and local shop. Basic groceries plus lots of homemade local items. Very helpful staff. Note: Check the website for post office opening hours. Also closed for lunch between 1pm and 2pm.”
