Staff exceptional, produce very good . Atmosphere as stated just a 2 lack lustre display exceptional the fresh fish . Delicatessen needs a refresh and jam ,sauce and chutney, honey together with gin,beer display needs a makeover. Restaurant was again exceptional food,staff and ambience all superb. A tweek or two and this will be a 5 star venue.

Preferred it when it was over the yard, it was a bit more rustic but great seafood.
It's over priced now. the foods okay in comparison to other seafood restaurants in the Same price range and style. Well worth a visit if that's your thing. (Michelin star) restaurants.
Staff are very nice and polite.

We visited yesterday, a treat for my birthday with my inlaws. They have previously visited and recommended The Smokery so highly, we drove 50 miles to visit. The food was excellent, however the service was disappointing, our starters not cleared away for over 20 minutes and 40 minutes after clearing away our main courses, we had not been offered either desserts or coffee, I had to leave the table to ask for the bill at the bar. Amazing food Smokery, but the service definitely left the experience flat.
