I?ve been running a golf society for nearly 15 years and have occasionally needed to reschedule due to adverse weather. Never have I encountered such poor customer service, lack of flexibility, and unwillingness to compromise as I did with Thornbury Golf Club.
With Met Office severe weather warnings in place and a significant journey ahead?including necessary diversions due to Severn Bridge closures?we made the reasonable decision to cancel and requested to move our society day to a later date. However, the club refused to accommodate this and insisted on keeping our £120 deposit.
Given their rigid stance and lack of understanding, we will not be returning, and I would advise others to look elsewhere.

Excellent venue, came for a function and can't fault the place at all. The staff were excellent helping some of the older more infirm guests and the catering was very good too!!

Lovely golf course, friendly helpful staff, excellent food and reasonable prices.
Recently attended a wedding here and was very impressed at the peofessional way everything was handled. Food, bar and staff were very proffesional and friendly all day and evening. Would have no problem recommending to anyone.

The golf course is a great and well maintained with difficult long rough you definitely need your A game to stay out of it shame the Marshalls didn't seem to care about slow play and we booked a 2pm tee time on line but felt rushed as 4 minutes later there was another group teeing off why
