Looks like a brand new shop, the area around it isn?t too good but the parking is also really good! Very clean as well never seen it dirty before

There are a number of long-running issues with this store: (i) frequent lack of stock, especially for fresh fruit and veg, (ii) items with very short use by dates, often 1 day and rarely discounted, and (iii) many items significantly more expensive than Tesco?s closer to Bristol owing to lack of local competition. However, the particular ?innovation? in this store which has led me to write this review is the significant expansion of self-service tills. Recently half of the tills for trolleys were converted to self-service. While I can see that self-service might speed up paying for a small basket of items it is obviously slower and less efficient for a trolley full of items compared to a trained cashier. I can only conclude this change was made to force customers to shop in a manner which reduces their staffing irrespective of whether it is convenient or efficient for the customer. Thornbury really deserves better supermarket options.

I have found the staff in Tesco very Helpful and it is well stocked and easy to find all the signs are above your head people just look up. It not that hard. If a person with a hidden disability can find stuff so can you. ? ??

I'm a middle aged man who shops with his 8 year old daughter. I'm smart dressed, clean cut, and probably the last person you'd expect to be shop lifting, yet I have had 4 bag checks out of five and it's supposedly random?
Well Tescos, I'm tired of having to re-pack my shopping due to it being man handled by one of your minions. I pay for edible goods, not squashed salad and mauled fruit and veg.
You can shove your tesco points up your arse, and my business. I will be shopping else where.

Great store ....even by Tesco high standards. I use this store daily. May I say to the manager of this store.... there is a guy called Chris, he usually works on the cigarette kiosk. SO impressed with this man's customer service its only my opinion .. but he is wasted in that role for Tesco, promotion to a higher position would be my course of action if I were the CEO of this store, Mark Hopkins, Alveston Bristol.

I regularly visit this tesco being very close to where I live. Well stocked for quick grocery shop and essentials. Friendly staff and usually quick checkout.
