Excellent service. I spoke to the health advisor at the counter and she asked the pharmacist to give me advice.
I was seen straight away by the pharmacist and she gave me medication for a very annoying, infected insect bite wound.
I have been with Boots for many years and have never had any problems.
The staff are all hardworking and polite.
In these times when they are stretched to the limit with prescriptions and the public health care issues I am truly grateful for their help.

Absolute messers! don?t answer the phone!? this has happened over the years not just today? first can?t find perception, then found it on the system. Then told not ready (hence calling ahead) asked why they don?t answer the calls and told them there?s reviews of people complaining about the same thing and was told there too busy to answer the phone, however walked in and 2 of them on desk and no one around. Then it gets better, was told the person that does prescriptions is on break so had to wait another 20 minutes. Came back after half an hour and still asked to wait. I understand circumstances sometimes but it?s not on to keep messing your customers around especially after trying to prevent this from happening by calling ahead. Poorly run businesses.

Impossible to get anyone to answer phone, at Boots Thornbury, whichever option you choose. An elderly friend, in her 80's with sight loss. traipsed a mile into Thornbury yesterday to collect prescription issued July 9th, to find it was not there and was told it would be there pm of 30th July . She has run out of these meds. She and I rang at different times between 2. 30 and 4 . 50 today, 30th July to establish if meds there. No one picked up on any of our calls.. even at 4. 50 when you might think things were quieter at the shop.No one texted my friend to say the item was there or not there. . i was ready to drive in and pick up for her if the meds were there. . So am hoping to find if I ring at 9 in the morning , someone will pick up the phone. . Have advised friend to use Cohens chemist whose service is impeccable and efficient. Unbelievably appalling service at Boots. .

Good range of products, fair prices. Pharmacy itself can sometimes get very busy with long que and waiting time for prescriptions. Staff always very helpful and professional.

Poor service every time as there's always problems collecting prescriptions. Also some of the staff are incompetent and unenthusiastic. Take my advice: Don't get any prescriptions from here. Try Thornbury Pharmacy as they are more reliable, helpful and competent.

Store didn?t accept the return of faulty item ( even though I was advised to do that twice via Boots Care) also my vaccination appointment was moved up without notifying me. Really really disappointed.

I feel so sorry for the staff who suffer abuse from customers on a regular basis. There are only three pharmacies in Thornbury, Boots being the main one. They are short staffed and there are way too many people in Thornbury now. They?re not super humans they just do the best they can for everyone. Please give them the respect they deserve.

Short staffed, unreliable ordering repeat prescriptions. Don?t answer the phone then take it off the hook, meaning unnecessary journeys to queue for ages to chase prescriptions.

Considering the pressure that the staff there are under being so short staffed, I think they are doing an amazing job. Especially with some of the comments that the customers make to them. Always friendly.

Dropped in a prescription and asked when it was needed for ?Tuesday I reply ? great we are running behind so could you collect Monday ? Yes but it?s bank holiday ?oh no problem we are open Monday ? and you are closed !!! Needed this today for a procedure tomorrow at 9 am so thank you to your unreliable staff who apparently don?t know when your open !!! I will be following this up as I?m soo angry with you as this was for a child and the fact we were in a 30 minute queue to even hand the prescription over was stressful enough !!! But again very badly done boots very badly done !!!!!!
