I am disabled so no ground floor rooms I was on 1st floor bit of a climb but made it room was quite big the only problem for me was a short flight of stairs to bathroom a nice size plenty of hot water bed was a little hard but I had a good nights sleep nice and warm room no connections for usb but plenty of power points breakfast was really nice friendly staff and breakfast was served in residents room because I had my dog with me Lexi was treated to a sausage breakfast as well so she was happy as well car park at the back so that was really helpful I didn't know they had room service I paid £90 with a dog and breakfast standard rate the room was clean and plenty of tea coffee milk and sugar the towels were exceptionally clean as was the bed clothes I really recommend this place as it's not far from shops and restaurants also near to Abbey will be staying when I go to Tewkesbury next
Rooms: Very decent sized clean room and bathroom
Nearby activities: Not far from museums and the Abbey
Safety: Very safe car park at back
Walkability: Right on the high street for shops and restaurants
Food and drinks: The breakfast was very good and fresh brewed coffee
Noteworthy details: Old fashioned but it is 16th century building but very clean and staff friendly and you can park a car safely

Nice size room, basic, but had everything you could want. Decent shower, no complaints there, and the full English breakfast went down well. The only issue was that the top blanket smelled a bit musty, I do however have a high sense of smell but would stay here again. Also had parking at the back.

Fantastic Hotel in the heart of Tewkesbury. The hosts were wonderful and accommodated us perfectly. I'd stay here again the next time I'm in the region.

Lovely guest house. The chap who booked us in was really nice and chatty. Our room was large with the shower room upstairs. There was a nice selection of tea and coffee. Extra pillows. Breakfast is served in the conservatory. The lady was lovely who made our breakfast. You help yourself to cereal, fruit juice, and fruit. You can choose what you would like cooked. Great location.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. We are sat in the welcoming dining room having a super breakfast. The staff are all lovely and very friendly and the owner was super helpful. Arriving at lunch time meant that we could park in the hotel carpark and walk all round Tewkesbury as it was close to the shops, eateries and theatre (10 mins away on foot) which we were going to in the evening. The room was clean and functional, slightly dated, but warm and charming. We slept well with no disruption from noise and enjoyed a lovely hot shower in the morning. We would definitely stay again as it was super value for money. ???Rooms: Clean room, functional with tea and coffee, nice clean towels, toiletries TV, hairdryer and a heater in case the room was cold overnight.Safety: The premises felt safe and it was good to put the car around the back in the car park which meant it was safely parked.Walkability: Everything is in walking distance as it is in the town centre. An ideal stay for the a night at the Theatre!Food & drinks: There are lots of lovely places to eat in and around Tewkesbury. There is an adjoining Italian restaurant, but we ventured out to a different Italian restaurant that was good value and super food.

Great budget stay, great staff, good breakfast, comfy, if slightly tired rooms. Great for an overnight, position is on the high street so can be noisy, but you expect that on a Fri/Sat night, will be back!

Parking free, good. Location, good. Dogs free, good. Everything else, awful! The family room we had smelt badly of damp, as did the bedding, and the pillows were shocking. The kettle in our room was beyond revolting, full of mould and muck, inside and out. I asked for a second cleaner kettle. The second, supposedly clean kettle was far worse than the first! See pics. Breakfast was dreadful, so much oil on the plate that the scrambled eggs were floating in it. Asked for extra toast, big mistake, it had melted burnt cheese on it. Yuk yuk yuk! The grounds at the back do little to inspire, rubbish everywhere, with broken pots and cigarette butts. The location is superb, sadly everything else, including the owner, let this place down big time! If you like warm clean cosy accomodation and good food, then drive past!
