BEWARE THE JOBSWORTH TRAFFIC WARDEN
The shop was fine - quite a good range of products for a small store. BUT beware of the jobsworth who patrols the car park!
As my husband has a a blue badge, we parked in the only vacant disabled space. It is probably the least popular space because the length of it is limited due by a large post surrounded by metal bars to avoid ay damage, which is predictable as the angle of the spaces also require reverse parking.
We were in the store for about 15 minutes and when we came out, the traffic warden was walking away from our car, having left a parking ticket on our windscreen, right next to the blue badge and the clock. So we asked why we had a ticket and with a huge smirk he informed us that one of our front wheels was not within the front line of the bay! We pointed out that the length of this particular bay is restricted, but even so the front of our car did not protrude any more than any of the other adjacent parked cars, but he insisted that we could, and should, have reversed further back - maybe a few inches at best!
This is not a user friendly car park and, as OAPs we cannot afford £25 parking fines, so we shall not be using this store again.

Mind the steps, had a heavy fall from shop level down to cold drinks floor I'm sure I'm not the first, as it's a fair drop to fall onto a hard floor. Old hazard tape is not good enough it needs the step changing into a slope also to help wheel chair users. Toddlers and the infirm need to be aware of This.

Great local store for quick bits and bobs. Though opening time needs updating as it says it's open an hour earlier than it actually is.

Staff member Hayley is the rudest most hostile woman you are ever likely to meet. Every time we go in its the same nasty negative attitude. Why are managers not calling her up for her behaviour? Customers should not have to put up with her relentless misery!
