A perfect overnight stay. From the start there was great communication with Jo when making arrangements for a dog friendly room. On arrival Jo was very welcoming and showed us to a lovely room on the ground floor that was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything that we needed for a short stay. It?s a shame that the Inn is now closed, sadly due to soaring energy bills that are claiming many pubs across the country. Overall great value for money with breakfast included. Would definitely return again if travelling to the area. Thanks Jo

What a beautiful location.We really only stopped here as a hit and run for RIAT.We arrived late and pressed the bell on the ground floor to be greeted by Jo, who explained everything we needed to know about our stay. We explained that we were leaving early and wouldn't be wanting breakfast. She then arranged a takeaway buffet breakfast for us to take with us.The room was immaculate and very modern.The room we had was up a flight of stairs and wouldn't be accessible to anyone with a disability. Needless to say. I don't know how many rooms there are, and if there are any on the ground floor which are indeed accessible.We were also advised of a great local Indian restaurant within The Bell pub, which the food was excellent.Shame we had so little time here, but gets 5 stars from me.

Nice hosts but the food is really lacking, especially at those prices. Wouldn?t risk going back but wish them the best.

One of the nicest Sunday Lunches I've had in a long time, with some great items on the menu created by their talented chef, and a very friendly selection of staff who neither overdo or underdo their attentiveness.This sort of place deserves the local communities support; Thursday's beer or wine tasting club sounds fun too.

Service very slow in the restaurant but friendly. Food was nice but not quite the standard you would expect for some of the prices compared to other eateries. All in all a nice experience but won't blow you away

A deliciously unpretentious but considered quality menu served by knowledgeable staff in a relaxed environment. James & Jo keep on doing it - we?ll be back for the ancient grain bread.

Excellent local pub with fabulous food. New owners, new menu including gumbo, three way lamb, goats cheese doughnuts and other delicious choices. Really helpful staff with excellent knowledge of food served. Definitely going back.

Such a beautiful atmosphere in this Gastropub. The pictures on Google maps don?t do it justice at all but it really is a cute sophisticated pub/restaurant with lovely food and a curated interior. Quite a bit on the expensive side in my opinion though

Charming bed and breakfast in a scenic town. Rooms recently redone and very handsome. Outstanding kitchen and courteous staff. Cannot recommend enough.

Had dinner here after a tip from a local and was not disappointed. Super good, interesting and nicely presented and a lovely cosy atmosphere. I?ll be back when I?m next in the area!

Beautiful pub, great food, very welcoming and the owner is a nice dude. Highly recommended. I love the period timbers.
