Would not recommend these doctors. ?Assumed? an injury was a sprained wrist with no follow up scan. It was left 6 months after having gone to hospital about another issue, went back to this doctor told him the hospital recommended a blood test and scan. The doctor said to rub some voltaren on it and maybe see a psycho (despite up to 10 weeks wait). Honestly, if you?re calling yourself a doctor and treating clients this way especially someone over 80+ you don?t care about their life or health you should be a doctor. The pain in the wrist has stopped my dad from moving properly, clearly needs a blood test and a scan not a psych and is in serious pain. No sprain in the first place. The appointment was made over a call and not in person?he turned up and they turned him away, silly mistake from the clinic. You can?t diagnosed someone over the phone especially his age! Once again would highly not recommend this doctor. After this serious complaint. I will be doing everything to find my dad to correct care which is clearly a scan. The disrespect and dismissal is the problem and large lack of care. Seek medical help elsewhere.

You can't see a doctor and hold for over an hour just to speak to reception.

What great surgery. Yes I may not see a Doctor face to face immediately but a return phone call from the Doctor dealt with my concern. My husband has a different Doctor at this surgery and we both feel they are exceptional. The receptionists have all been professional and listened to what I am asking and try their hardest to help. The dispensary is fantastic and so helpful.

I saw Dr Angus McMyn and he was the best Doctor I have ever seen. He got me an appointment for a scan and messaged me personally with details and was very caring of my needs. The reception team have been very good with me and in my opinion a fantastic practice

The care I and my family have received from Dr Woodward and Nurse Lucy has been caring, professional and responsive. Really excellent. I do find reception more tricky to predict, depending on who I speak to and do not think it is helpful for receptionists to almost rejoice in the fact they are announcing there are no appointments for at least two weeks - this needs some work.

Middle of the summer and still cant get any response from doctors on phone line, the practice has gone down hill since new owners. If its this bad in summer whats it going to be like in winter

This place is a call centre masquerading as a surgery. You?ll never get to see a doctor. I?ve tried three times. Referred pointlessly to an in house physio who then cancelled twice due to sickness! He probably couldn?t see a doctor either. In the end I gave up. Total waste of everyone?s time. The receptionists are however friendly. Welcome to the conservatives vision for the NHS.

In my experience over 2 years, it's simply a call centre. I was assured by the receptionist that my GP does actually work at the surgery, but I have never met him. He calls me when required, hazards a guess at what might be a diagnosis and then prescribes something. He doesn't know me, has never seen me and has absolutely no interest in what might be wrong. I may as well just use Google.

Dr Charrington. Aren't you a waste of a doctor. How about you leave the Phoenix and go about just doing your injectable aesthetics. It's quiet clear from the 2 interactions with my parents that you couldn't give a toss about actually doing your job.1. You fobbed off my dad with antibiotics, multiple times. Knowing he had a history of cancer. Guess what... he had cancer.2. You fobbed off my mum with antibiotics for 4 months knowing she suffers with Crohn's. Guess what... She's now seriously unwell....Your inability to successfully diagnose patients problems makes you a LIABILITY to this community and other patients and these two innocents are not the only ones I know of.Your licence should be removed and you should be ashamed of the service you provide.

Very long waiting time to get through to anyone. Unhelpful staff, when you eventually get through. Unable to see a doctor face-to-face. Unexperienced doctors.

In nearly 15 years with this surgery my wife and I have never received anything other than helpful contact, whether by phone or face to face. Understanding receptionists, friendly & chatty nurses, with excellent listening ears and professional practice from any doctors we have seen, especially Dr Cardew & Dr Douglas. Thank You All

Everyone at the Phoenix surgery was fantastic in providing end of life care for my father. When it became clear that he was gravely ill, Dr Charrington arranged fast track care. Within two days, we had district nurses, hospice carers and a hospital bed at home. Whenever I contacted the surgery, everyone (from the receptionist to the doctors) was extremely kind and helpful. My Dad received all the care he needed and was able to die very peacefully at home. It's hard to express how much this means to his family - thank you all so very much.

I was disgusted at how the surgery floor on a Monday morning was disgusting dirty. The surgery floor from the front door to the back looked like it hadn?t been cleaned in weeks. Not what you expected to see in a doctors surgery which should be spotless at all times. Even the doctors look scruffy in trainers and and scrubs and hoodies, far from when Dr Walsh and Dr Lucy where there in suits and ties. At least they look like doctors not cleaners
