Aimed at the people who train customer service section. This isn?t just aimed at Tesco as it?s a ?theme? across larger corporations; so I remarked to the woman on duty at the self-service checkouts that it seems daft to shut the ?self-scan? section. The place was chokka. I?ve encountered her before, she always looks and seems really stressed (and with full empathy, I get it, I?ve had jobs that didn?t tick all the boxes that bring joy). I sensed her annoyance and frustration and her responses echoed what often happens; a kind of irritated version of things from her perspective, rather than any attempt to step into my shoes and see that I specifically chose the self-scab to ease off the pressure on workers. Also it?s easier and supposed to be quicker. So I was left having to empathise with her- the only staff member where there should be three people working. I can do this, AND I would love it if staff were trained to respond more from an empathic perspective too; something likely ?Yes, I know. It?s annoying isn?t it when they shut that area. I?m feeling it too.?

Tesco bread used to be the best, but over the last week or so, no nice freshly baked bread, and today bakery section completely closed - come on Tesco, bring back your split tin and farmhouse - please ?

Nice store with a petrol station, Costa and Timpsons

Petrol station. Charged twice for fuel on my transaction. Cashier couldn't deal with it so called over their so called management. Two ignorant girls eventually turned up after the cashier requesting it several times. Didn't acknowledge me at all. No apology or explanation for what had happened. Is this typical Tesco management

I used the self service checkout as I only had 1 item. As per usual, me and touch screens don't work. Some great helpful staff on hand, got me sorted out.

Not the store but the fuel station. You can never rely on it having fuel in the evenings. It?s meant to be 24hrs with pay at pump but most of the time it?s shut at 2100

Would like to say a huge thank you to your epic worker on the self check out today. Her name was Janice and she helped me so much.
I have an unseen disability and asked for help.
No hesitation, she helped me to till and scanned my items while I packed. I still felt part of the process and we had a lovely little chat.
Workers like Janice our gold !!! Thank you
