I had to attend this pharmacy to pick up emergency prescription medication whilst in Stroud visiting family. Unfortunately the experience I had was very poor as the staff behind the counter were unhelpful and unfriendly and seemed to find my situation amusing. If you are neurodivergent or have anxiety I would strongly recommend you go elsewhere.

Over worked staff not capable of filling repeat prescription. Highly unimpressed with the service. When my child needs her prescription I should not have to wait 7 days to be told they haven't even ordered it yet and don't know when it will be in. On multiple occasions. The last time I went in the pharmacist was so stressed she looked about ready to cry. The management of this in store pharmacy needs sacking and the staff need support.

If you have asthma, don't use Stroud Tesco as your designated pharmacist. No Fobumix last week. This week an emergency prescription for common antibiotics & steroids couldn't be fulfilled at 5.45pm when chemists are just about to close. Concerned that this may happen, I tried to call them 12 times today to check their stock. If they had answered the phone, a disaster and a lot of stress and consequent worsening of asthma could have been diverted. But they didn't! Also, they don't check if you have more than one prescription so make sure you ask for it and check your stuff before you leave. This is all unsatisfactory. People could die because of it. I'm returning to Lloyds who, luckily, had both in stock and fulfilled it just before they closed. I sincerely hope the government legislate to intervene with the state of our pharmacies. The queues in all are 3rd world. Doesn't help that Stroud was promised another pharmacy and got Starbucks instead. Like we need another coffee shop!

Phone is on silent all the time. Never answer. Not good for a pharmacy at all. I Drive but I cannot imagine how The vulnerable who rely on this pharmacy must feel.

Very poor communication and nil response when unable to supply prescription often on common items even after 4 days or more. Won't be using again even after 30years custom. Pathetic service and could in some circumstances be even dangerous for some. Can't recommend .

Sadly the staff are extremely overworked and understaffed.Long queues and often have to gueue twice if prescription not ready.No texts to inform if prescription ready and they don't now answer the phone.No fault of staff they work extremely hard.

Friendly staff, but overworked. Queues too long, so many items not available to many people. Perhaps they are accepting too many prescriptions for staffing levels.

Phone keeps cutting out after 3 rings. Have been trying to contact for 2 days. Repeat prescription requested a week ago but no text to advise it is ready to pick yet.

Fantastic pharmacy with some of the most helpful and friendly staff I have ever met. Sometimes there is a short wait but that's acceptable when they are so efficient. Other pharmacies in Stroud have made me wait over a week for an urgent prescription and then had to que for an hour when collecting. Would recommend this pharmacy above all others in Stroud.

Polite pharmasists tho they sonetimes let the 2nd one leave early so you cant get meds out the DDU. I get treated like a human being despite the drugs im prescribed.
