I am really impressed with Stroud Carpets and Stroud Interiors. I was welcomed and shown around by Nancy and Jordan, a very knowledgable and friendly team, they listened to my requirements and gave me samples of all flooring needed for my renovation. The measure appointment was convenient, accurate and prompt and Saul had a really good eye for detail. Tom the fitter was accurate, detailed and really good at their craft. Thank you for an all round perfect service, I love my new carpets.

We had a great experience with Stroud Carpets. Saul and Jordan listened to our requirements for carpet and flooring for a 3 bed terraced house near Stroud. They offered an appropriate solution. They scheduled a fitter very quickly and responded promptly to our emails. Always friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

Have been meaning to write a review for a long time. Nancy looked after me from start to finish. She provided a great service and I was thrilled with the outcome of my curtains. She did my whole house including the curtain rails. The price was also good compared to other retailers. I would highly recommend them!

We ordered custom Roman blinds for our cottage from Stroud Carpets. Nancy was a delight to deal with - friendly and professional. The blinds arrived within the timeframe given and everything fitted perfectly. Very happy with the quality and look. Would highly recommend.

After getting several quotes from various companies, Stroud carpets provided a reasonably priced quote and were able to fit the carpet very quickly. They offered good advice when I visited the store and I?m very pleased with the overall finish. I would recommend to others.

Good range of offcuts in the shop that will meet many people's needs, good communications up to fitting day and the fitting team were friendly and did a neat job of fitting stair and landing carpet. Unfortunately a fixing nail on the landing burst a central heating pipe - we didn't notice immediately as heating was off and the water soaked into a wall. This did a great deal of damage including making some irreplaceable family photos on the wall below mouldy - I've spent about a week's work repairing pipework, plaster and decor. The pipe wasn't in accordance with building regs - less than a floorboard's thickness from the surface - so I can understand how the accident occurred. I contacted Stroud Carpets to ask for help and/or a contribution towards my costs and was lectured for nine minutes on the owner's opinion that he wasn't liable, and quote "obviously" if they came back to refit the landing carpet I had to lift then I would be charged. I think that the owner's argument about liability is accurate but legally insufficient; it was certainly poorly judged as I was seeking customer service rather than a legal admission of liability. Although I think that I had a legal claim against them I decided that doing the repairs was a better use of my time and energy. The owner did later offer to refit the lifted carpet free of charge, although I didn't take them up on this because I couldn't face talking to them again. Not bad if all goes well, but if something goes wrong then expect neither help nor sympathy.
