pretty good hotel but food is mid and cold, and they almost always dont have something, and they make you wait for ages, just go to mcdonalds or tesco if you want food

This is a hard working Premier Inn. You can tell that from the knocked about walls of the stairs and hallways. Hundreds of cases and holdalls have taken their best shots. Which is my it was such a pleasure to fine that the room was absolutely clean and tidy with everything just as it should be. What a relief. And also the Premier Inn standards team (I'm sure there's something like that in the company) should use the shower in the Stroud Premier Inn to set as their standard as a good flow rate. It's up there with a goodly sized waterfall. Five stars.
Rooms: Clean, tidy. The lack of air con might put some off since an opening window is the only option. Brilliant shower pressure though. Fantastic job at invigorating the start of your day.
Nearby activities: The nearby park is great for walking and running. There's also a Parkrun event there every Saturday at 9am for those interested in a bit of Parkrun tourism.
Walkability: Easy walk to a big park and 20 min walk to the town centre.
Food & drinks: Massive late opening Tesco superstore is within an easy five minute walk. Woodruffs cafe in Stroud is 20 minute walk and is great for breakfast. Also a fifteen minute drive away is the National Trust Woodchester Park. Their café's woodfired pizza is a fantastic lunch.

Clean and staff are friendly and extremely helpful. I have stayed several times when visiting family. I feel welcome, safe and have even made some friends in the restaurant bar Brewers fayre. The bar restaurant could do with a bit of tlc inside and out . Not the fault of the staff who are marvellous.

We have stayed at many Premier Inn's over the years and generally had a good experience. However this must be hands down the worst PI property in their portfolio. The Reception wanted £10 extra for a 30 minute early check in. We went to find a seat in the bar but the chairs were so stained and filthy it was difficult to find a pew that would not transfer a nasty growth to your nether regions. The hotel itself was very tired. There was no A/C in the room, which was like a Sauna and the window only cracked open. In Room 116 we had a lovely view of a wall and flat roof.Overall a disgusting and very disapointing stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and accommodations. Both the reception and bar staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The hotel itself, as well as the rooms, were clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!
