Recently moved my savings accounts to Natiowide after the closure of my local HSBC branch. I have found the staff here to be exceptionally friendly and obliging.

Staff really let you down. Do not seem enjoying their job helping customers. Very very poor customer service.Chester branch however amazing and excellent service.Closed at 16.30h during weekdays and Saturdays which makes it difficult for working full time. Very disappointed.

Had the best service yesterday when moving a large amount of money following a house sale. Both branch manager Tom and his colleague Tina were so helpful at this time and ensured everything went smoothly even when having technical issues. Thank you!

I work 9-5, m-f, and so its taken me three weeks to be able to get to my bank as it's not open late or Saturdays, even though Covid restrictions have all but lifted. Finally today (16 july 2021) I left work early and I was made to feel like a bother by the two female bank tellers who I've never seen before at the Stroud branch. One let out a loud sigh when a customer left, the one which served me (short brown hair) had attitude through out my transaction. I was paying a lump sum off my loan early and at the end of the trasaction I asked how much I had left to pay. She rudley replied "ask someone who knows"! I have decided to change banks after banking with Nationwide since 1995.

Closed yesterday went back again today. I had my private business shouted over the whole of Stroud by a lady in a mask behind a screen I wanted to go to the normal screen were there is more privacy. She prevented me. Then wanted to charge me £25 for transferring some money with other banks don't charge for. I am getting very fed up with Nationwide.

Such a great branch, but still closed, despite all other banks in town re-opening! It is a small branch, but surely measures could be put in place to make it safe (limit one teller or barrier between two, 2 customers in at a time, etc.) as other places do, especially now we're all wearing masks! I've had to afford the petrol and parking and time to drive to either Gloucester or Cirencester for my banking needs, but can no longer do so. Unless this branch re-opens now, my next drive to nearest Nationwide will be to close my account as saving my hard earned money during these hard times has to come first.

It is not a good look for Nationwide when other banks have reopened in Stroud, but not them.Perhaps a clear explanation of why this particular branch is not open rather than a bland corporate statement would be helpful . Or tell us what needs to change for this branch before it reopens.

Fantastic and friendly service, my transaction was dealt with quickly and efficiently by Tina. During these times Nationwide Stroud have a set up that made me feel safe at all times

Polite staff,however I waited 30 mins for two ladies to be tended too.The team members seem like they couldn't care less with how your waiting so a casual chat may occur... I use this branch most weeks and If I had a choice I wouldn't return!
