I bought 2 x 16GB DDR4 RAM thinking it was the normal one, turns out it?s server ram and it will not work with normal Desktop PCs. Cheltenham branch said they never sell server RAM so Stroud need to be checking their products properly

Absolutely shocking took a ps5 in and was told wait hour for testing had light bit of dust waited a hour to come back and be told during test they could not take it because of dust and when I got home to re set it back up it hadn?t even been tested as all stuff was still on there and screw missing from stand absolutely disgusting

So I have a large collection of dvds and cds that I wanted to trade in. I did think that CEX might not want such a large collection but had a look online and found nothing to say they wouldn?t let me trade them in so we boxed everything up and drove over to the Stroud branch as we could park closer than Gloucester or Cheltenham.
When we arrived however a lady member told us they have a limit of 25 per day. Nothing we could see on the website said this and none of the branches have a phone number so you can?t even check before hand.
Thanks for absolutely waiting our time and effort. I know dvds/cds aren?t worth much but it?s better to try and not send them to the land fill.

A very compact store which does mean they might not have a wide variety of things but it's well organised and the staff have been friendly and helpful both times I've been recently.Some cool stuff in the windows as expected and I don't know if it's new policy or anything but they cleaned off the stickers from a steelbook I was buying which was a nice touch that no other store has done previously.More than happy to visit again I'd they've got some games in that I'm after.
