Bought some paint and Adam (Stroud Branch) couldn't have been more helpful, re-mixing carefully a tin that I'd managed to get the colour wrong first time.
A few year's back the shop was struggling to offer a good service but seems to have bounced back well.

A quick visit as we needed some 18mm plywood and a few lengths of CLS. This was i think the second visit since it changed ownership. I was pleasantly surprised with the range of things being sold. Felt more like the 'Big box' stores in the States. Definitely be returning ?

Got what I needed. But had no Stanley blades which is pretty much a staple in a toolkit. Oh well.

Gosh I hate these sort of places --- I always come away with the wrong thing and seem to pay the earth for nothing very much. But I recently had OUTSTANDING SERVICE there from "Gail" who works in the Kitchen and Bathroom section. I needed to order a new kitchen and muddle headed as always but armed with a bit of a list she sat down with me at a moments notice and went through the whole lot --- ordering as we went, everything including the kitchen sink. It took her over an hour but she was incredibly patient and very helpful. She saved me 10 per cent on my budget and ensured that I did not order more than I needed but had it all covered. No-one has every been that helpful in such a store before, at least to me, and I was incredibly grateful. She is an absolute star! (and no, she is not known to me!)

Visited the Stroud B&Q today to make a purchase in the Bathrooms area. We were immediately greeted by Holly and asked if we needed assistance. Lovely, friendly lady, supremely efficient. Holly is a real credit to the store. She deserves promotion and a pay rise.

B&Q in Stroud is a fantastic DIY haven! The store layout is clear and easy to navigate, and the staff are always ready to help with a smile. From tools to paint and everything in between, they've got it all. Prices are reasonable, and the quality is top-notch. A go-to spot for all my home improvement needs!

Bought a kitchen from B&Q Stroud. The staff are amazing.. always make time no matter how busy they may be.. incredibly knowledgeable, and with the inevitable hiccups (mostly due to supply and demand) resolved quickly and efficiently. Many thanks to Harry, Gail and Sarah for your help and patience.. we would 100% recommend.

Thanks to a very patient staff member I managed to fix a new toilet seat. Without his explanation I would not have been able to make sense of the instructions that came with the seat
