Pie had no crust; was basically a soup.
A ~£5 service charge was added to the bill, even though had to order at the bar.

Order food and drinks in the bar: My partners beef and mash was delicious however, my sauages, mustard and cheese ciabatta with salad and fries and it was awful ?. I received the smallest amount of sliced, burnt, tasteless sausage on ciabatta with a withering, browning salad and fries. I'm stunned they thought it was ok to serve it.

Went in for lunch and it was packed. Found a table and ordered. The two serving one boy one girl were in over Drive and from what could see never put a foot wrong. Our meal was superb and the staff were great. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Had a delicious Sunday roast at the pub on our visit here this July. We had made a reservation online, which was a good thing, because otherwise there would not have been a table available. We had a later reservation in the day but by then they had run out of 2 things on the menu and then emailed us in advance to let us know - which is so considerate of them. The service was excellent and we felt so welcomed. We immensely enjoyed our meal here and would definitely return. Highly recommend.

Our stay at the King?s Arms in Stow-on-the-Wold was wonderful, and the staff made our experience so memorable.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable and charming, and we were provided with ammenities upon arrival. The location could not be more central, which meant we could make the most of our short stay, and had easy access to all available restaurants and shops.
All staff members we interacted with were so helpful and accomodating, which was very much appreciated, as it was our first visit to the area. The manager, Carla, and her husband, went above and beyond to assist us when we were unable to book an early-morning taxi upon our departure. They reached out to every available contact to ensure that we arrived for our train safely.
We are so grateful for the help we received! Carla is an incredible asset to this lovely business, and we will certainly be recommending the place to anyone we know who might be visiting the area. Truly 10/10 service!! ??

We stayed above the pub, in the hotel, and can confirm that this was absolutely one of the best stays we have had. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom is huge, with both a bath tub and a shower. There are windows which open and provide fresh air and views of Stow. Everything was clean, and the hotel itself is a very cute, a restored building!
However the absolute biggest selling point of this hotel is the staff - everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful but this review would be remiss if it didn?t highlight the above and beyond service of Carla, the manager, and her husband. They made sure that we had everything we needed, and made themselves available for any questions we had during our stay. They really set this hotel apart from any we have stayed in prior.
If you are travelling to the Cotswolds/Stow, stay at the Kings Arms - you will have a lovely stay!!

More interesting menu than elsewhere in Stow. Garden is average. Barman friendly but limited non alcoholic drinks. Fine but will not rush back.

The food and service were on point. I honestly didn't expect much from a chain pub but the slow cooked beef shoulder was to die for. My husband said it's the best meal he had in a long time.
We shall be back and I advise everyone to try this delicious meal! Cudos to the chef and keep up the great work.

Had dinner here. Fantastic!
Staff were great and very friendly. Food was no-nonsense and very tasty. I had a superb shoulder of beef, braised for seven hours and my wife had linguini with chorizo. Staple food cooked to a very high standard. A lovely evening all round ?
