We had a lovely meal on a very busy Saturday night. Despite not booking a table the Bell went out of their way to help us and the food was testament to their dedication to good service. It was delicious and such a warm welcoming atmosphere to enjoy it in with our small dog.

Food took nearly an hour to reach our table. Had to wait another 10 minutes for sauces. Burgers were burnt and dry. Steak was completely overcooked. Chips cold. Coronation chicken flatbread nearly broke my mums tooth. Really awful experience.

Enjoyed our lunch but disappointed that several dishes were not available on the day. (flat bread, pulled beaf, coffee machine broken etc) .
Waitress was kind to give us a nice table but otherwise seemed over stretched with her various duties.

Lovely welcome, super dog friendly. Varied menu, all looked delicious- we had the chicken and the fish n chips. Fish n chips were huge! Lovely ambience- didn?t stay so can?t rate the rooms!

Lovely day out, lovely oldie wolrldie pub with lots of character.
Staff make you feel welcome and ensured everything was spot on.
Food and beverages.5*
Made for perfect day.
Only downside parking and although a none significant day ie not a bank holiday extremely busy area and roads to get there rammed.

Smaller menu but plenty of options.
Fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding were both excellent!

Lovely roast and nice decor inside. Good selection of drinks. Would recommend. There's also a space to sit out the front if the weather is good and a car park right next door.
