The locals pub. Unlike all the pubs/hotels in Stow it hasn't been tarted up and made trendy for the Londoners who escape. Cheapest for drink and food as well. Gets very busy at the weekend.

If you want a genuine, English pub experience look no further! Cozy pub, great food and gorgeous staff. We had a lovely waitress (brunette, apologies we did not get your name) who was just so happy to be there and have a chat. We felt so welcome and looked after! Will definitely recommend to friends and family back home in Australia.

Having 2 dinners here while staying at Stow for 3 nights. A good old-fashioned pub in the heart of Stow-on-the-wold. For the city centre the prices were reasonable, and there was a good selection of foods. The staff were all very friendly and professional.

Loved this little pub a good quality traditional pub we find harder to find these days! Good pint but the options were a bit restrictive considering the amount of options out there these days! Great beer garden a bit of a suntrap which was ideal for an not great start to the summer so any hint of sunn we're happy

We ate here on Fri night, and fell in love with the quirky old pub. The food was delicious (more choices of desserts, and more veggie/peski friendly starters would have been great tho) and we had Eve serving us- what a sweetheart she is! Fab humour and serving manor- don't let her go!!
