Stayed for two nights and loved our stay here. We had food at the restaurant on our second evening and the food was 10/10. In particular, can?t recommend the baileys mousse dessert enough, absolutely incredible!

We went to Number Four for afternoon tea. The service was pleasant and efficient. The sandwiches and cakes were of a good quality and the hotel was a pleasant place to be. We had a very nice afternoon there.

This time we upgraded, if it's just for two it's not worth upgrading. The other rooms are lovely.

This is a great place to stay if you're attending a local event. We had a wedding at the Hyde, very nearby, so this was perfect. It's a lovely place, the room and bed were comfortable, but there were far too many fliesin the room and bathroom. Slow moving, sleepy flies, which circled round and landed back on my face time and time again. They were also having a party in the wc bowl, which was clean, although very, very hard to flush. My granddaughters were in the next room and they also had the fly problem. I slept well, & there's a great espresso machine in the room. One thing I really liked was - no breakfast buffet. They bring your beverages and toast, then take your order for a cooked breakfast. So no hovering behind others, no food which has been kept warm for too long and dried out, or run out. They bring you a plate of freshly cooked food. The only reason I'd not stay here again is that I normally have no reason to visit this part of the world.

Well presented with large car park, great staff and meals, an easy 10 - 20 minute drive to most Cotswolds sights. Stow on the Wold is just over a kilometre for cafes, including the oldest Inn in the UK

Went here for an afternoon tea. Welcome was underwhelming - chap on reception needs to smile!! Lovely day but no one outside which was a shame - we were put in a table inside. Comfortable chairs and tea was nice but not fab. Selection of sandwiches, interesting scones with jam and cream and a small sample of cakes. Service a bit inattentive - no choice if teas. The main downside were the amount of flies - absolutely loads of them all over the food - it was really off putting. A ?nice? experience but wouldn?t rush back.

Just returned from a 2 night break at this hotel. The location was perfect for all our travel plans. All staff were helpful and very friendly. We booked the dinner package which i thougt was good value. The food was amazing you can tell they only use top quality ingredients. Room slightly small but didnt bother us. A fridge in our room which we found useful. Nice bar area to pop down for a drink after dinner. Would not hesitate to book again if in the area.

Really lovely stay at No. 4. Great location, smart contemporary decor, comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful staff and delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend. Only minor niggle was a radiator which wouldn?t turn off leading to a v warm night but in fairness I didn?t actually report this or ask for help so I can hardly complain too much!

I thought this hotel was excellent. The room was a little small but perfectly fine. The breakfast was really good, I particularly appreciated the serving of items usually regarded as unhealthy (fried bread and black pudding)! The staff were efficient and friendly. It?s a little out of Stow but we would return.

We had stayed here in 2017 and we did wonder if it would be as good. It was still a good place to stay. We walked in to Stow and had remembered a short cut a little way up the hill which takes you in to the rather nice little town. The road is busy and so a room away from the road is a good idea. The rooms are ?cosy? but adequate as there is a lovely lounging area near the bar. The meal was superb in the evening and the breakfast was by order which is something we prefer to a buffet style. All in all a good place to stay with plenty of parking.

From the first impression the hotel looked clean and inviting but unfortunately we found our room to be really small as was the bathroom- with no window! Comfortable bed and good air conditioning but our room , the dining area and the bar too had a real problem with flies- we had five/ six in our room which was incredibly annoying when trying to go to sleep. We mentioned this on checkout and weretold it?s because of the nearby fields!

Lovely hotel, very clean rooms, shower good and well equipped with toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities. Bed comfortable. We were able to check in early which was great, and the location was very convenient for the wedding at Hyde House. Breakfast the next morning was very tasty and the restaurant is lovely and relaxing. Would definitely stay again.

the hotel was really lovely with a bar and restaurant the rooms were roomy and clean but the pitfall was the fly problem, we entered the room and were met with quite a few flies and they kept appearing... the staff provided fly spray so it was ok - something to take on board if you are thinking of staying - this was perfect location for a wedding we attended at Hyde House, but i don't think i will return to this particular hotel. The area was fabulous had a lovely walk before breakfast - the staff were really helpful especially in the restaurant
