Popped in for a snack whilst cycling in the area. They were approaching closing time and I was very kindly given a sandwich too. Very clean cafe which must be popular. Highly recommended.

Had the breakfast outside. It was a shame to see dog mess on the grass left by a lazy dog owner. Gives all of us who own dogs a bad name?. Food and service are very good

Shirley?s is a great cafe. Always clean always friendly and the food is always cooked fresh so expect a wait if it?s busy. Personally happy to wait for great food that unlike some places isn?t sat for hours waiting to be served. It does exactly what it says on the tin. A proper cafe.

I?d put 0 stars if I could! Disgusting place. Absolutely vile experience. I don?t know what was worse, the filthy cutlery, or the food. Plates came out with dried food crusted on the edges, and I found food still on my fork! Tables were sticky, the glasses had stains on them, clearly not been washed, probably rinsed in dirty water. the ?fresh? cakes tasted like they?d been defrosted in a bin. I left feeling nauseous and genuinely disgusted at the state of this cafe.
