Really could not believe the friendliness of the people here. The locals were friendly and the owners truly went out of her way to help.
The kitchen was closed but they offered the use of the pub to eat our takeaway which was very kind, however they then offered to collect the takeaway for us!! They even phoned the takeaway and ordered on our behalf!!

Nice local pup with a good selection of drinks and they have different food vendors on certain nights. Friendly staff roaring fire and local bands some weekends. Highly recommended.

Great pub, Has very reasonably priced bunk house accommodation for visitors. Recently doing the pop up kitchen scene, bringing different styles of cuisine into the village, which is great for locals and tourists alike.

Second time we've stayed whilst mountain biking in Cannop. Great place to stay and a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning.

Visited two nights on the run with friends. Manageress was really welcoming. First night was quiet for a Friday. Next night they had live music and the place came alive. Would definitely ring ahead and see if they have music on. Currently without a chef so no meals available. That said we would definitely return.
