“Since our launch, we have always used Ruardean Service Station - from the days when there were pumps for fuel at a sensible price, with a repair shop and MOT testing station, to the current setup of just a vehicle repair centre and MOT testing station.I say "just", but that is a HUGE understatement. The staff are always ready to go the extra mile (if you'll pardon the pun) to help people who may need general assistance to those who need special fault diagnosis & diagnostics (within reason - one can't expect them to have the specialist computer diagnostics for each and every vehicle make on the road).The prices have always been very fair and reasonable, and if you're given a quote prior to work being undertaken it's always darned close to the final bill - they really know what just about every job is going to take.If you want to supply used parts for them to fit, they're happy to do this for you, providing you accept that they cannot be held responsible for the longevity of said part(s).We've NEVER been let down by them, and they've got us out of sticky situations in the past. This is one of those places that it's worthwhile taking the extra time to travel to, rather than to go somewhere that's closer to you.The workload has increased over the years, and to match this so has the size of the workshop, which is now roughly 50% larger than it used to be. The vehicles parked on the forecourt are testament to the way that people feel about it - so be warned, there's a waiting time to get seen, but they have been known to carry out an emergency temporary repair that would keep you going.We wholeheartedly support them, and recommend them to all of our friends and clients.This family owned, family run place should be supported and utilised by all.”
