The staff were pleasant and welcoming. I went on a weekday lunchtime, and it was fairly quiet. They have three alpacas in a field next to the pub. They are very cute ?

I like this pub. The food is good, the roast dinners are rather pricey at £19 or so.

Mid week food was probably the worst ive have had in a very long time. I would presume mostly frozen and for the price point completely missed the mark, can appreciate cheap and cheerful but this is far from it.

An absolute gem of a pub. Welcoming and efficient staff. Excellent tasty food. Generous portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Beer garden layout has a good-sized seating area without being squashed together. The alpacas were a delightful bonus. A dog friendly pub. Will definitely be a frequent visitor.

Lovely Sunday lunch but the chef needs to perfect his roast potatoes, we have been there twice now and both times the roast potatoes have been undercooked

I love this pub, I discovered it by accident and it was so good that I've come back with multiple different people! The food is so good, and so reasonable too. The staff are always really warm and welcoming, especially Patricia who is so friendly and helpful. The cute alpacas are an added bonus!

The Rose & Crown hosted a funeral for my dad last week.
The staff were lovely, very friendly and accommodating.
The food had lots of compliments, and having a large space to use with access to a small bar was perfect for our group.
There was space outside for the children to play & they also loved saying hello to the Alpacas!
I would recommend the Rose & Crown for any event.

First and last time eating here. I had the nut roast, which was bland, but the real disappointment was the roast potatoes. So dry, hard and tasteless - are they frozen potatoes? The vegetables were nice, and the staff were friendly and efficient.
The affrogato was lovely, especially with the almond biscuits crumbled into it (a clever addition).
Sorry, but the potatoes were unforgivable.

Nice old pub with a garden on the back they do food but I can't comment as we didn't have any, nice attraction for the kids is the animals in the back...

Absolutely lovely pub. Great food, Great choice of beer, cider, wine and spirits. The food is fantastic, and is served quickly. The staff are amazing with children, and have high chairs, and a children's menu. I couldn't be more proud to call this my local.
