We came here during our visit to the Cotswolds looking forward to a great meal. Unfortunately it wasn?t, firstly our starters arrived before our drinks which wasn?t a great start. We had to ask where our drinks were. And secondly the food was just not good. It was obvious it was pre-made and microwaved (the curry) and the other food was just as disappointing. Unfortunately I would not recommend eating here.

Great atmosphere and food. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Me and my son ordered the Sunday roast and the burger. Both were excellent.
It is recommended to book a table as it's quite full. In our case we didn't and the team were kind enough to allow us to have our lunch at their lounge as the restaurant was fully booked.

Excellent Place, we booked for breakfast but a visit for a midweek meal, or Sunday lunch will soon be on the cards.
I had full English and my wife had scrambled eggs on toast. The best coffee we have had for ages.
Great Service and set by a small brook.
Lovely outside area too.

A beautiful period building with fine furnishings and wonderful ambience offering quality freshly cooked cuisine. The menu has something for everyone with the possible exception of myriad choices for vegetarians. Expertly cooked and presented. Discreet professional service with a smile too.

We had dinner booked last Saturday and when we arrived was led upstairs to the dining room.
The room itself was lovely. We did notice a few dogs under the tables but thought nothing of this at the time.
The food was nice albeit my wife's kebab wasn't as hot as it should be but acceptable. My pie was exquisite with lovely creamy butter mashed potatoes.
Overall it was a really nice experience and we enjoyed it but I don't think we'll be coming back.
At a certain point while eating the main course a family arrived with a huge black Labrador setting off a barking competition in the dining room with the other dogs under the table. I could see the look of embarrassment in the owners face to try to settle the Labrador down but he didn't succeed too well, why you bring a dog into a restaurant beggars belief to me !? I don't appreciate being tail swiped while I'm trying to enjoy the dining experience either.
Until the crown changes their ruling on this we will not be coming back to eat in the restaurant.

Cozy and the ambiance is great. There is a cricket club behind the Inn where you can let your furbaby have a run around. Just dont forget to pick up the mess.
We went for Sunday roast and it didnt disappoint.

Beautiful. We dined in their riverside pods. These were beautiful and the waitresses were friendly, polite and attentive. The good was delicious with lots of flavour. We had cocktails which were also made perfectly. All set next to a stream. It was beautiful inside and out. Would recommend!!
