We arrived at 11.45 hoping to order late breakfast and as the menu stated breakfast between 9am and 12 midday we thought this was not going to be an issue - unfortunately we tried ordering breakfast but we're told they had gone onto the lunch menu - staff were attentive and good was fresh and arrived promptly - we did have to wait to pay the bill as one staff member was covering both upstairs and downstairs whilst the other two were vaping at the back of the building. Lovely food - would visit again but give plenty of time if you want breakfast

Been here a couple of times now and always had great service by the friendly staff. I have had a number of different items on the menu which has always been very tasty and ample portion sizes. If you are ever in the area I would highly recommend.

Coffee shop on the hill. Dog friendly
Was slightly dear at £6 for a cheese sandwich but was very nice

Can?t fault this cafe. People friendly, dog friendly. The food is great tasting and substantial. The staff are really helpful and accommodating.
Go for a coffee or a meal. You won?t be disappointed.

we arrived before 2.30 to be told kitchen closed so why say lunch menu 12 till 4 ? also my wife asked for still water and got half a glass of tap water ,only had few samples of cake so not impressed with this place

We arrived to have a lovely lunch here, after a long walk.
Arrived at 2.26pm for lunch to be told the kitchen was closed? website said open till 4pm.
Ordered a latte and 2 cakes ( all there was to eat !! ) , asked for still water to drink, only tap water available and was bought out not even a full glass !

Dog friendly and vegan options!
I loved this place so much! They were dog welcoming, loads of seating inside and out, fresh water and treats for the dogs too.
Wide menu options and happy to make alterations for dietary requirements.
Cute book section with donation to charity.
Toilets were lovely and clean too. Lovely local cafe that were really kind to tourists.
AND THE CARROT CAKE WAS AMAZING!

I said I was going to sit in when I ordered but waited almost and hour for my food by the time I got it I had asked for a takeaway box as I had to go to work. I arrived with 1.5 hours before work thinking it would be plenty of time. ended up having to ask for it in a takeaway box as I had to leave. not impressed
