Really nice pub, very near the Cotswolds farm park, the smash burger was really good

My wife and I were staying at the guest house next door for a night (highly recommended) and needed an evening meal.
The Farmers Arms staffed by lovely people, fab sensibly priced food and local beer. I had the smash burger, Debs had the Pie which I think was beef and Guinness, both lovely and good portions finished off with Treacle sponge and a Biscoff Cheese cake... all yummy

A lovely pub with proper pub food at a reasonable price. The staff were fantastic and we had a lovely evening.

Popped in to the Farmers for lunch last week with a couple of locals. The previous landlord had significantly improved the pub but had recently left. The Farmers has carved a niche in the area serving pub grub at lower prices than its classy foodie neighbours in Guiting and Kineton. Disappointing experience. Only four tables being served. After half an hour we were told the ticket hadn?t made it to the kitchen. Even then it took 20 minutes for ham egg and chips to come out. Food was OK and similar to the previous regime. We received a halfhearted apology but no adjustment to the bill. Not much of an incentive to return quickly, which is a shame. Hopefully just teething problems.

Absolutely incredible food! Was so impressed with my mushroom toast and the mackerel pate. Kudos to the chef!

Stopped to look at the village and took in a pint of cider too. Very nice outside, although inside looks a little rough and ready (but as we were outdoors maybe I did not see the best indoor areas).

We were really excited to visit The Farmers Arms in Guiting Power, especially given its great location. As visitors from South Wales, we were hoping for a lovely, relaxing meal out, but unfortunately, our experience didn?t quite live up to expectations.
We were told there would be a 25-minute wait for food, which we didn?t mind at first. However, it ended up taking well over an hour?so long that we eventually walked out in frustration. During the wait, a waitress apologized and mentioned there was new management, promising it would be just five more minutes. Unfortunately, that turned into another 20 minutes with no food in sight. At that point, we were so tired and disappointed that we decided to leave hungry.
What made things worse was that local families who arrived after us were served promptly, even getting their desserts before we were even close to being served. It was really frustrating, especially since there were no other nearby food options.
The location is lovely, and we had high hopes for a nice meal, but the service was a letdown. We?re hoping this was just an off night for them, but unfortunately, it didn?t leave us with a positive impression.

Was quite disappointed by our visit really. We were staying in the area so decided to pop in and grab a drink. We weren?t greeted as we went inside, one of the ladies behind the bar (brunette) was kind and seemed more welcoming than the other staff members. We then headed to the beer garden where an off lead dog proceeded to pester my dog (who was on lead and can sometimes be lead reactive with strange dogs he doesn?t know).. this off lead dog would not leave mine alone even following us into the pub after we decided to move to avoid the off lead dog. This was quite disappointing as we felt like we couldn?t have enjoyed sitting outside with this other dog roaming free with no care from the owner that he was upsetting my dog.
We sat and enjoyed our drinks and the decided to leave. My partner put the glasses on the bar and kindly said ?thankyou guys? to which we have NO response or even acknowledgement that we were leaving.
Having worked in hospitality for 7 years I know customer service is a BIG thing but I felt so unwelcome here, which was a shame because we loved the area.

Literally in the middle of nowhere but adds to its charm. Traditional country pub. Wide range of drinks and food. Good sized garden outside.

Very friendly place with nice food. The staff was attentive. The atmosphere was good, just the music a little noticeable. I look forward to returning.
