Visiting Newent and arrived late so decided to get a takeaway.
Friendly staff and service was fine.
We may have caught them on an off night, but the food was very poor.

Stopping in Newent for weekend. Ordered take out curry. What'a menu. Fabulous selection. Walked in - lovely spicy aromas. People eating in looked happy. Only disappointment was food should have been ready for collection at 8.50 and didn't come out of kitchen until 9.15 and I was ravenous. Anyhow the food was well prepared, very tasty and worth the wait.... Recommend if you're in the town......

The sauce for the Korma was watery
The garlic nan smelt of garlic but no taste at all of garlic

Yummy, mixed naan delicious.. seasonings and filling in said naan are actually evenly distributed throughout.

Been here a fair few times due to the food usually being great. Last few times we had visited the food just gradually got worse. The service is also VERY poor, one of the main waiting staff may i add is very rude, very clingy whilst we eat which leaves us feeling very uncomfortable, this particular member of staff also has made inappropriate comments towards us. Went to this restaurant last night only to end up being forgotten, disrespected and food poisoned. Will not be chancing again

Food was nice and cost about right for the area. Service was reasonable and an overall nice guy but ordered a beef danshak (menu stating chicken or beef) only for a lamb danshak to be served. Not a problem for me but good job I like lamb ? mother in law ordered a medium curry only for her brains to be blown out with spice. Also extras added to bill and when question told "it's easy done with touch screen issues" - can't fault your response and love a tryer to be honest ? we were right next to the toilets with people constantly leaving the door open but, small place so not really their fault!!That being said I would come back and be worthy of a visit to anyone considering ?

Our first visit and so glad we tried it. Friendly attentive staff , the best Biryani, Passanda, and Tikka Massala ever, and we know our curry!
