So disappointed. We are on holiday and planned our entire day around a late lunch here. We checked the website and it said food served between 12 - 9pm and we also popped in at around 10am this morning to confirm they were serving food all day. We returned at 2:45pm for a late lunch only to discover the chef had decided to close the kitchen until 5pm. Absolutely unacceptable. The lovely receptionist saved the day for us and found us another restaurant option which served late lunch.

We stopped there today for a bite to eat and have a drink for lunch, we both ordered a wrap and they were absolutely delicious (my chrispy duck was amazing).
Highly recommend, and I would definitely go back again.

No lounge to sit in with comfortable seating. Smokers were to close to the conservatory where we were eating.

Only had a meal, service was friendly , but a bit slow due to the girls being so busy. Just two on, and they were rushing around. Both very nice. The burger was very good, also my wife's fish and chips. The local ale was also very excellent.

This review is for the restaurant, we did not stay at the hotel. Wow, what a find! It was our last night in Moreton-in-Marsh and it was a fantastic dinner. I had steak frites-delicious, a tomato salad with vegan feta that was quite good, and ended with a passion fruit Eton mess. You will not be disappointed if you dine here!

I stayed here for a total of three nights over a week of walking in the area. I greatly enjoyed my room and the food. The rooms are quiet and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful and dinner in the restaurant is excellent. I had the marinated chicken, which was moist and delicious. This is a wonderful inn.

We've stayed here a couple of times before, and always found things as close to perfect as possible. On this particular visit, we're staying elsewhere, but have visited the Redesdale for dinner last night and this evening (with a cheeky couple of mid-afternoon beverages in between). The Roast Dinner was the best we've had in a long time, the Lamb rump and Peri chicken this evening were both cooked to perfection. Big thanks to Richard who has made us feel so welcome and who was so friendly, subtle, and helpful, with a really pleasant nature. Would recommend here to anyone. Many thanks.

Ate here last night. We all had various dishes seems like us ladies got the worst of the bunch. Food was good pub but the pie pastry was a bit sloppy and my nicoise salmon a bit disappointing. The salmon was just the wrong side of over cooked so had gone dry, but everything else was soaked in butter/oil so not a problem. What I had a problem with is they called it nicoise but the capers were missing (which should have been olives in my view). Also three miniature spuds cut in half and over sauted to just before burnt, four hot cherry tomatoes and possible five green beans chopped up hiding under the salmon, half a boiled egg with a lump of salmon on top is not nicoise. My fault for not thinking hot meant the salmon would be hot on a cold base if new potatoes beans olives, onions etc. Basically salmon and a few veg without a sauce just fried in butter/oil and compared to other people's food a very wee portion for £23.95. Then I had a hair in my food. Normally I would say something but we were with friends and very unlike me didn't want to cause a fuss. I was starving as we had waited quite a long time to get food that we were on point of chasing up when it arrived. I don't like to give a bad review if I haven't mentioned it but felt like I needed to write up. The other meals were all good and looked generous portions.
Pub/hotel is lovely but the ladies were shocking in need of redecorating. The seat was broken, tiles coming off the walls, dingy and general disrepair.
We will return as we only live down the road and I'm sure when we've eaten before it's been fine. So I'll give myself the telling off for not mentioning my over cooked fish and missing capers. But I won't be taking a group of ladies until the loos are sorted out.

Visited a couple of weeks ago, but sorry we didn't stop for a drink. It was way too hot like the heating was on.
The weather was awful and wet..
Hopefully, next year, when we return . We will call in then.

Cosy double room. With parking outside.
Great meal in the restaurant.
Very central location.

Our second time of visiting this Hotel and would rate it well with a few caveats.
The room was spacious with a huge queen sized bed but it lacked secure ventilation. The ill fitting doors lead out a shared courtyard and was the only means of fresh air.
The staff are lovely and very passionate about the hotel. It is due to be refurbished as part of a makeover with the new owners, I hope they realise the staff are an integral part of the experience.
