Best builders merchants around. I've never had it where a worker comes out and shakes your hand. Everyone here is very polite and professional.

Karl was fantastic in advising on all of the things we needed to pave my garden. He was friendly, patient and helpful. Everything arrived just when we needed it with a friendly delivery driver. Prices were good. Couldn't recommend more and will defo be going back.

I hadn't used SWM until yesterday, having heard that they were high priced.Well, let me start by saying how wrong my hearing must have been! I called in to look at some fencing and timber for a new project and was pleasantly surprised by the result.They are really welcoming and friendly, and have quite a wide range of stock. The yard is clean and very tidy, and the showroom is just as pleasant.I will be using them in the future, and I suggest that if you are in the Lydney area and looking for timber or hard landscaping materials, it would be worth visiting them.

A really excellent local business.Karl has been amazing from the start of the project to the very end, his knowledge and expertise helped to shape the project. Everything was delivered on time and when it was needed.They even went above what was needed when extra things were needed, and delivered in the hour.The delivery guy is amazing as well, considerate, funny and just does a great job.Credit to Lydney, and will use again.

Always avoided this place. It just 'felt expensive and a bit too swanky and smart for any real trades people looking for the best prices. Did some checking and it turns out they're very very competitive. Cheaper timber than all other local suppliers and super friendly and helpful. I'll be using using them again. Only place cheaper for timber is forest products and nothing as good in Lydney.
