Best Indian food I've eaten, everything was gluten-free, and the flavours were fabulous. The staff were great too, we had a lovely experience here.Dietary restrictions: All main courses were gluten free

It is no longer a restaurant, but a pleasant 5-room hotel with breakfast. They announce that they prepare "afternoon tea" to order

If you want special accommodation, this is the place for you. The room wasn't particularly big or comfortable, but it was special. You have to try it yourself. For a longer stay I would prefer something more comfortable. Only breakfast was served, the restaurant was closed.

We had a magical December mini break in the lovely town of Winchcombe We enjoyed 2 very cosy rooms - very clean with comfortable beds. There are lots of little touches like a nice welcome tray and tissues and cotton wool. White company products which were appreciated and the room was lovely and warm on arrival It was a shame that the entrance is no longer used as the fire place would have created a lovely warm space to relax other than the room There are some very low beams and a few trip hazards and a door hing that sticks a long way out into the room and is black and at eye height. We put a white towel on this o avoid an accident. The front two rooms are on the road so in the Summer with the windows open they would be noisy. Breakfast is at an additional cost and available in the pub next door. This is also where you check in. The pub staff were friendly and accommodation and the food was very good. We also enjoyed a very good meal in the Lion - also located in the village All in all a lovely stay.

Wanted to meet friends at a nice quirky place were we cod sit and have a cup of tea, drinks and breakfast and expected that as on previous visit from Wesley House. We were informed early on that they no longer did dinners, but everything else would be available at the hotel. Day before we received an email from White Hart pub next that they were looking forward to see us the following evening. After a lot of phone calls we were eventually informed the White Hart, next door had taken over the hotel, but nothing else had changed in our booking. Indeed on arrival a note on the door informed us to book in next door, where a staff member then took us back to the hotel and let us in to a small cold, but clean room. Turned out it was also part of the emergency exit route? Not exactly basis for a romantic evening. The entrance was cold, untidy thus very un welcoming and the roaring fire we had expected was not lit, despite a big pile of fire wood, and certainly no place to sit over a cup of tea or a drink. In fact you could not even buy it. What about breakfast? Oh it would be served next door in the White Hart. That fell way below any breakfast I have ever had. Rooms were very small and not a place to sit and enjoy a cuppa, that although the ingredients were there, no cups fitted the machine and so few ingredients that they might as well not have bothered. We had no forewarning of the takeover, no chance of cancellation, no apology, no attempt by the new incompetent management to even attempt to make the stay comfortable, in fact i I felt we were totally mislead.

The Wesley House is no longer a pub or a restaurant. It remains a 15th century Merchant's House with lodging still happening upstairs from the former pub and restaurant. There was nothing exactly wrong with The Wesley House as a place of lodging but see if it's for you: * My bags were on the ground floor when I arrived. Nobody offered to bring them up the narrow stairway so I dragged them up myself. * The rooms are small but functional. Somewhat amusingly, the second floor emergency fire exit was in/through my room with the door to that exit ominously labeled "FINAL EXIT". Thankfully there was no need for anyone to run through my room on the night of my stay. * Though The Wesley House had someone on site when I arrived, that person gave me a key for the front entry door for later, when nobody is on-site. One lets themselves into and out of the building, walking through the former bar area to get up to the rooms. * There was nothing wrong with the breakfast that's included in the price of lodging but I will note that it was my least favorite breakfast of the 7 I had at other places during my time in the Cotswolds. The Wesley House is fine (no more, no less) but if you want something a little more than fine I'd keep searching.

I stayed here for one night and thought it was great. Super nice staff, nice room with extremely comfortable bed. Internet was good and the breakfast was great. I would come back at any time.

Matthew, our host, was so wonderful. He built a fire in the Inglenook fireplace and served us delicious drinks and then sat down with us for a chat. This B&B was one of the highlights on our Cotswold walk. Our room was wonderful. Wish we had more time to spend in Winchcombe.
