Karyn and Carl were brilliant. They got a water bowl for our dog and gave us excellent service with personality and care. Food ( and beer) were top class and the Inn has character and flair. We will definitely come again and the loyalty club Wednesday 25% off was a wonderful bonus

We had an excellent meal after my mother’s funeral on18th July. The Lion gave us a table in a quiet part of the restaurant and the people serving, including Karyn, were very discreet, helpful and friendly making us all feel relaxed and looked after in our time of grief. Karyn served us an excellent breakfast today. She was very busy with residents but made us feel welcome and served us very quickly in spite of all she had to do. Karyn was very friendly and a pleasure to have serve us, also she was very helpful with getting the Butcombe Loyalty App. We shall definitely return!
