Went walked up from Sellars Bridge to Saul Junction. We popped into The Stables Cafe. It was busy but served quickly and good menu. Walkers and dog friendly. Perfect pitstop.

Friendly and helpful staff. We visited, as a small group, on a midweek morning during torrential rain. We were made to feel welcome, and the staff were very understanding of some of the needs of our group. Thank you. The breakfasts being served looked absolutely delicious, and everyone was enjoying them. We had only popped in for a quick drink, which, along with most things on the menu, was reasonably priced.

Very disappointing. Queued for 30 mins to have the order taken. I had a chicken sandwich. One white roll with chicken. No butter, no mayo or any other ingredients/contents in the sandwich. One of our group is vegan - only lunch choice - chips. Location rescues it.Parking: Lots of parking right by canal/cafe.

Great for a spot of lunch with a great view. Lauren our server was fabulous nothing to much trouble. Very polite and welcoming. Will definitely go again.

amazing service from the food being quick to come and tasted delicious. The dark haired girl was very nice always had a smile on her face even when it was busy. an amazing atmosphere would definitely recommend and come again

We had gone with managed expectations after reading other reviews but thought we?d give it a chance. Service was on the slow side but not as bad as indicated in other reviews so we thought we?d got lucky. Food was reasonable when it arrived. However, the Tea can only be described as dire. In my wife?s words ?I?m sure they?ve scooped this out of the canal? and ?if that was all I could ever have to drink, I?d be dead pretty soon? Take your own teabags/coffee and make sure you are comfy for the wait on food and you should be fine.
