Really didn't appreciate being called and texted constantly by this hotel in the lead up to Cheltenham race week after reluctantly staying for a night last year. The rooms are absolutely dreadful and our shower was broken. Avoid like the plague and don't share any of your information with them, as they will ultimately harvest it for marketing purposes and break every GDPR rule going. Shambolic!

The building is very nice, the employees are pleasant. The only drawback is the walls where you can hear everything from the neighbors.Rooms: Large, clean rooms with everything you need to make breakfast. A pleasant surprise.

Awful experience, I woke up covered in flies , There was atleast 100 of them in every part of the roomI was only there one night and didt get in till 10 o?clock , when I complained the next day they said maybe it?s food I had eaten , which was a salad from Tesco , and I should of asked for fly spray , I asked for my money back and she said if I didn?t stop complaining they will ring the police ?Please do not stay here !!!!!

Stayed here when we visited for the Gloucester v Bath Rugby. Wasn't quite sure what to expect from the outside but was pleasantly surprised with the room and facilities TV internet connection was rubbish so don't expect to watch TV in there...had a microwave, tea coffee and fridge, plates knives forks etc ..people in the room above were noisy but other than that easy to get to from the local car park about 7 mins walk if that

Had to book at the New County last minute and was not disappointed. I was upgraded to a courtyard room and ended up staying 3 nights due to the rail issues.Great location for exploring Gloucester city and the Quays. Modern and well decorated. Felt very much at home here. The reception team were very friendly too :)

The room is ok. Overall the hotel is good. But the wifi connectivity is not good. They have a fan when it's hot and the heater for the cold.The staff are very friendly. But they tried their best to fix the wifi but in vain.

I was delighted with my stay. Absolutely stunning location in the town centre, all the history around. Friendly receptionist, didn't hesitate to give me directions to various places. The hotel itself is well maintained, no old red carpet but modern carpets. Rooms are nice and brilliantly equipped- microwave, fridge, kettle, crockery, cutlery. TV but I don't watch TV. Nice new bathroom. Everything very clean. This is now my favourite hotel.

I sayed in a 1 bed appartement, so sad to write a bad review but although the appartement was really nice, after climbing 3 flights of stairs with a heavy 65L rucksack it was like entering a sauna, the heat hit me like a stream train. I opened the patio door no relief the sweat was pouring off me. Then the WiFi didn't work. Tayah on reception tried her very best to get it to work but to no success. I spent all my time sat on the balcony suffering. 33 degrees, never came down. I asked to be moved into the hotel but was told they were full. I ended up sleeping on the floor next to the open patio door. It was a horrific experience. If you book here book the hotel.
