Best tourist cafe ever! Reasonably priced, unlike its NT comparator, and agreed by the whole family to be the best sandwiches we'd ever eaten! Great coffee too!

A great place to get coffee, some fresh scones and clotted cream. Nice quiet place to chat.

At the cafe last week our food was not fresh!! My husband had a fruit scone which was warmed up for him. It did not taste fresh. I ordered a piece of square millionaires shortbread and I was given a triangular piece placed near the till. Usually no complaints from us. I must also say that we paid full price too!!

We stopped here with our grandchildren after our visit to the Cathedral.
Simple lunch menu sandwiches, jacket potatoes cream & savoury teas etc.
The children were pleased with their mini monks lunchbox, I chose the full monks bacon & stilton sandwich (plus crisps cake & drink). Fairly priced restricted seating inside, it was a nice so we chose an outside table.

Excellent place to grab food and drink, both during a visit to the cathedral and as a good cafe

Nice little cafe inside the cathedral. We had a cream tea and were pleased with the quality of everything. The service was efficient and friendly.

Nice Café next to the wonderful Cathedral, pretty standard, plenty of selection of stuffed jackets potatoes, soup, ploughman's and of course cakes and tea and coffee, dog friendly too

Visited on a Saturday morning, just before the lunch rush. The staff were polite and helpful throughout. We found a quiet corner to enjoy our coffee and cakes with our young children, who quickly found the box of toys.

After a nice walk around the cathedral, we grabbed some lovely food and drinks in the Monk's Kitchen Cafe. Really nice ?

Very enjoyable, pity the cathedral was shut for the schools Christmas carol service

Set in the bowels of Gloucester Cathedral, the Monk's kitchen is a better-than-average coffee shop, with delicious coffee and tasty treats on offer. It was a chilly morning and the perfect stop off. Certainly cheaper than the exorbitance of the cathedral entrance fee.....
