The staff at this location were quite unprofessional, particularly in their treatment of delivery drivers who are simply fulfilling their responsibilities. All workers deserve to be treated with respect. One female staff member wearing glasses was especially discourteous, using inappropriate language and complaining about performing her duties.

Nice little shop which has everything you need

Unfriendly customer service at check out. The beyond burger was misleadingly labelled as on offer. There were two versions of beyond burger. However there was only one price label below both of them. When the self check out helper said the beyond burger was not on offer, my wife mentioned only seeing one price under both of them. The teller was unwilling to go and check it herself. My wife had to go back to the aisle, take a photo and show the teller. It turned out it wasn't on offer. When my wife politely said it was a bit misleading to just have the one price label, the teller was rude. She got on the defensive and said it was obvious the offer was just for Jalapeño beyond burger. See photo to see if you agree. She even accused my wife of being rude for having the audacity to complain. Mistakes happen but I expect friendlier customer service. Being friendly to customers is a key part of the job. In our last trip to Sainsburys a staff member went to check prices and the teller was much friendlier. More customer service training please. My wife left the store not wanting to come back.

Normally have no problems. But just encountered a staff member who needs a bit more training. Went with my father for a walk and he wanted some alcohol, helped him carry his stuff to the counter. Staff asked for my ID - but only for the items which I helped carry. I didn?t have my ID so we were refused service for that item- fair enough. Yet she still sold us the rest of the alcohol my father was holding. Surely if she believed I was too young to be consuming alcohol then the entire purchase should have been cancelled.
She has essentially refused yet at the same time also provided alcohol to an ?underage? person. Either a jobsworth or managers just need to do some better training.

It's a fantastic little shop a great stop off when yonot in the mood for a huge shop I always come out satisfied with my shop and the staff are super helpful and friendly it's a 10/10 from me
