The shop is fine but cafe needs to be improved. Hygiene rating is 4, not seen one of those ratings for a long time. Most places are a 5.
Service at the till is slow. Followed by slow delivery of food. Plus our order was not right when it was delivered, then a long wait again for the correct foos to be delivered. Tables not wiped down when cleared and lots of of used crockery left around. Think they need a good supervisor here!

I strongly suggest you stop having these people stood in the entrance trying to get donations! I have nothing against charities and will happily donate to a good cause, but I am fed up of being hassled everytime I go in and out of Tesco from these people.
They are now even stood outside my local Tesco in Abbeymead, half blocking the small entrance.

Do my weekly shop at st oswald?s tesco, usually amazing. Today was an awful experience. Had an interaction with the Lee on smart shop. I do smart shop as supermarkets are overwhelming enough as is, scanned my shopping onto the machine and clicked ADD 30p BAG, went to grab one. As i?ve picked it up hear someone say, ?supposed to pay for bags you know?, ignored it as clearly not talking to me, pay for my shopping and turn around and Lee again says, ?you were supposed to pay for that bag you know?. I have no issue with him checking someone?s paid for something, how you go about it should be professional. I say ? I did would you like to see my receipt? holding it out to which he snatched it checked and hands it back without an apology. So I proceed to tell him he?s rude and shouldn?t speak to someone like that, no apology no accountability for accusing me of stealing, A 30P BAG, not to mention i?d spent like £40 in shopping. Left in tears as it was humiliating, calmed down and went back to complain as I don?t like horrible little men belittling young women and was met with a manager no better, think her name was Adriana, who also offered no apology and said she?d speak with him in private while being condescending. Horrible experience.

Pointless advertising the petrol station being open at 6am because it's not even open at 7am. This has happened on many occasions in which they don't put a sign up to say why but hey ho every review helps

I?ve had issues with this Tesco petrol station on two separate occasions where it was closed well before the advertised opening hours of 6am?10pm. The first time, I arrived at 6:30am before work and it was shut. The second time was on Tuesday 29th April at 9:15pm, and the pumps were blocked off with cones.
It?s really frustrating to rely on posted hours?especially when you're low on fuel?only to find the station unexpectedly closed. I had to drive further and pay more elsewhere both times. Tesco needs to update the listed hours or ensure the station actually operates as advertised
Its stated on Google and on Tesco's website the petrol station is open from 6am and closes at 10pm

Whenever i go majority of the items are out of stock weather i visit at 11 am or 7pm. My suggestion is to improve your stocking and logistics team as i always go here to buy 2 things, out of which 1 is always out of stock, the finger chillies are always sold out. There are many other things which require attention as a student i walk 30 minutes back and forth to get 2 things and its abit disappointing hence i stopped going here.

Only three stars because of their shopping bag placement. You have to leave the queue to get your bag which gives others behind you the opportunity to skip the queue. It's like they want to irritate their customers. I can see it causing conflict between customers at some point in the future. Other than that one BIG issue, it's a good shop with friendly helpful staff.

Having a quick stop for coffee in Tesco Cafe I was very badly disappointed with quality of coffee. I ordered black americano but I received light brown liquid which does not taste like coffee.
I do not recommend this place for coffee to any others coffee lovers.
