Where to start! A catalogue of issues since getting a new set of glasses. In a nut shell I should not have gone to Specsavers!
My current glasses were scratched and so I went to renew them. No issue with the lenses apart from scratches, but Specsavers informed me to have an eye test.
When trying to collect the new glasses, I was informed there had been an error and they were in fact not ready. So the drive into the city and parking costs were wasted.
My second attempt was more successful. However , when wearing the glasses I started getting headaches, eye strain and double vision. I informed Specsavers, who then booked me in to resolve the issue, meaning another trip into the city and parking costs. They could not revert to my old prescription and could not give me another eye test, so had to book a later appointment to get another eye test. So I look forward to taking more time off work, paying for the fuel and parking required, all to cover Specsavers sheer incompetence. This will either have to be resolved in my next trip, or I will require a full refund and I will give my custom to a professional and capable organisation. To be honest I will most likely never return to Specsavers after this debacle.

Had a follow up appointment after a series of operations at Cheltenham General to re-attach the retina in my left eye. The appointemnt took almost an hour due to the various issues with scar tissue etc. Excellent service.
