Went there 2 years ago, what a difference! Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I've had ever, mostly not resembling Chinese food at all. Starrers were Iceland esque frozen tiny portions, apart from the ribs that were reasonably tasty but full of tiny bones. Service was slow, 1 beer on tap carlsberg. Main dish were all basically the same 3 gloopy sauces with different meat, maybe 4 bits of meat per dish. We had dishes that we didn't order and dishes never turn up. After realising that the mains were a lost cause, we ordered starters again, only to be told 30 minutes later that this wasn't allowed. Left hungry adter 2 hours abd at £26 each! Coukd have had a decent meal anywhere else. I can see it closing down within 3 months

We ordered a take away, including vegetable fried rice. The rice was not fried, it was boiled. The sweet and sour pork was bland, just sweet no sour. The vegetable chow mein, some of the veg had the texture of carboard. The beef was slimy.

Food was decent although some of it could of been hotter. Speedy service. But we were perplexed to be asked to pay upfront!!!! Before we even ordered. We were a party of 10 that pre booked. Never have I ever paid upfront at a restaurant before. It was then a pain to set up a tab after for the rest of the drinks. They wanted us to pay as we went along but by then we were eating so refused and eventually they allowed it to be put on tab. Wont be visiting again. Disapointing.

Food delivered was disgusting egg fried rice is a absolute joke next to no egg in it also the 3 currys ordered never read the notes left and the sauce was like water also the special fried rice is just egg fried rice in one tub and the ingredients in another for you to mix yourself so not cooked together to make it look and taste nice very disappointed of wasting over £50 to just leave it won't order again and definitely on the banned list for me

Used to be a lovely restaurant with fantastic food, we were really surprised how it has changed when we visited for my birthday in April Food was mediocre and nothing like it used to be, It's a big restaurant but everyone is seated close together at one end of the room so you get no privacy to talk, the staff stand around nearby watching everyone, whilst I can see the advantages for the staff to have everyone in one area and be available all the time, it really was not a nice experience, felt like we were just being watched constantly. The house wine tasted of chemicals and the carpet was stickier than KCs used to be. Such a shame.

Again, I've been really disappointed with the food having ordered a takeaway! There is absolutely no taste to anything, to the point where the chips taste the same as a chicken foo yung, which tastes the same as mushroom chow mein etc etc. The tastiest food were the prawn crackers. This is the 2nd consecutive meal I've had like this and will be the last time I eat here. It's not cheap in comparison and actually used to be really good value but not any more! Awful!

Food was awful . We ask for duck enough for 4 people .it came out cremated and made 1 pancake . So order some more which came out uncooked (pink and soggy). Ordered prawns for all of us . The plate came out with 4 prawns on . It felt like they didn't want u to order more . I would never return here again !!!

Ordered a peking duck for me and my wife just as something to snack on in the evening was very disappointed seemed like they didn?t even try with the onion and cucumber slices. The duck was alright but not the usual decent duck we have had in the past from this restaurant. Probably best to visit in person.

Food is delicious, service nice and quick. Drinks are good but expensive (£3.70 for a pint or orange juice and lemonade, £4.80 for a pint of carling). Would recommend it, but be careful of the costs climbing.

Okay positives - food was great. Cant fault it - hot and tasted good. Had the special menu which is basically a slightly reduced menu still has about 70 dishes on but cheaper not including more expensive meats like duck or seafood. Makes sense!
Service was good. Even though felt the staff given it was quiet could have prompted a bit quicker for more food/drinks. But no background music so could hear every conversation at the other couple of tables?.
The negatives - the carpet! I don?t know what?s happened. But you stick to it everywhere - this needs urgent work. The place needs a general clean. The gents toilets smell was shocking - it smelt like the toilets of a nightclub at 3am! The FOH could do with a deep clean, seems like tables and bar are clean but all other details completely ignored.
Finally, food hygiene scores. 3* on the door from May this year. Yet your advertising on posters that you have 5* like the pull up! I?m guessing this was before and hadn?t been updated but still should be covered up otherwise it?s misleading!
Parking: Free street parking if you can find anywhere. Tesco Express now limited and streets busy.

I work away a lot so looked for an actual Chinese restaurant for a change, as you get bored of hotel food constantly. This place looked good so I walked to it, 25 mins from my hotel. On arrival they asked if it was just me, & seemed unimpressed when I said yes. They then said well you can have a take away or need to order from the a la carte, the latter being what i planned to do anyway..
As I looked at the menu they also said there's a £3 supplement per course as I was alone and they cook everything fresh (the least you'd expect anyway, right?). That would have added £12 to the bill for the meal I wanted... what a sham!
I wouldn't care but they only had 3 of about 15 tables in use! Seriously unimpressed, and their attitude was just appalling to be honest, despite their star ratings on Google!

portions are very small and they make u share how can i share 12 pieces of salt n pepper chicken with 3 people it?s ridiculous
