not really one to give bad reviews but the customer service in this place is bad (along with a few other things), i?ll be honest not all the time some members were really helpful but others were outright rude to my face. other things I don?t like about this place include the size, it takes ages to get anywhere and everything is too spaced out. also, for some reason they keep moving everything about which just makes life harder for the shopper, maybe they just secretely do it to annoy them who knows. there are always npc?s outside begging and when I ordered my stuff online they didn?t package it all properly so I had to go into the store and wait for them to sort my bag out for half-an-hour. you get treated like you?re going to shoplift all the time and now apparently they?re rolling out facial recognition so get ready for more surveillance. I would personally order online/home delivery and not bother going in because the experience just makes you angry.
the only good thing is the food seems to always be fresh, nectar cards give you pretty good discounts and the argos inside handled my orders very well when i was there but that?s about it would not recommend.

So cold in the store today that I had to leave. It was 14 degrees outside and that felt warm compared to inside the store which felt like a chiller.

Quite a well thought out store. Good ranges which are usually well stocked. Staff can be really helpful but I've found when it's busy they are less inclined to be. Always a good selection of trolleys and good parking.

Located close to the Peel Centre in Gloucester. Convenient Supermarket which invariably has lowest petrol prices around so worth checking.
Store itself is spacious but in my opinion a bit difficult to navigate and signage could do with a revamp to make it easier to navigate.
That said the store was well stocked and staff were helpful.
Decent sized carpark.

With only 2 checkouts available, how do you propose to offer good customer service?? I do not shop at the supermarket to serve myself. .........still rubbish, ridiculous queues and no decent service, avoid unless you enjoy waiting around to serve yourself ?

Standard sainsbury large layout good selection did find on this visit that they didn't have everything priced up, I live by the motto. If you have to ask the price, it's too much. I am sure that, in this instance, I could easily afford a packet of biscuits, but without a price label, I could make an informed choice of it's not just about biscuits there was other items not labeled pull your socks up Sainsbury's

Plenty of choice and good selection of non food items. Staff love to always get in the way and restock constantly. Really annoying! Occasionally it's been VERY Gloucester in there, but I guess the staff can't help that.
