We went here mid-week, it's got 2 different mini golf courses with a fab Japanese theme. Really friendly and helpful staff.

My wife and sister in law arranged our visit for Father's day. I'm very rarely in the country for Father's day so they made an extra effort to find somewhere with food and an activity I would like. We arrived, played our first round then got to a break where we went to order food.... To be then told there's was no sushi, katsu curry etc as advertised on the website. Which has been replaced by a glorified childrens menu of chicken and chips and those sort of options akin to any old bowling alley or kids activity center.
Honestly, I didn't play our second round of golf in the end as I was so disappointed I just wanted to leave. The entire reason my wife booked the place wasn't part of the venue anymore (which is still branded outside and on the website) and we had zero communication of the change upon booking or arrival.
If there is a major change in an entire concept of a place it needs to be advertised clearly on the website or while booking to avoid this sort of thing. We ended up walking to another restaurant and had a decent meal and time together but our entire day was planned with Putputnoodle - or in this case Putputno-noodle - in mind.
I respect and appreciate how hard it is to run a small business but it's a huge disappointment all around.
Golf was fine. Staff were cool but too little too late. It is what it is.
Also - on reflection it seems the cards handed out to with a QR code to write Google reviews is for Putputsocial Gloucester. ???? Feels indicative of the experience.

Big thanks to Owen brilliant service form him good suggestion of what to do tonight. Great advice on the drinks. The ?ashai?, if that?s how it is spelt, was really nice and a good drink to start off the night. I have only given four star as I haven?t tried the food.
